This is my new #1. My heart is full and happy from Taqueria Victor Hugo. Truly THEE most delicious birria tacos and elote!!! These guys really take care of you too! I ordered through grubhub, and they took the extra step to wrap the consomme and boxes in saran wrap to make sure there isn’t a mess or spills. They ALSO did the work and added other stuff that gets stew in the consomme, to the cup of consomme. Usually most places will just give you the broth, but these guys give you the extras. Overall an extremely delicious experience and I’m so happy to of tried this place out! Will be telling all my friends about this place!! My only regret is not getting the churros. But it gives me a reason to come back.

It was busy on a Saturday night with 3-4 orders before and immediately after mine. The wait to order was short and only about a 10-15 minute wait for food, which felt perfectly reasonable. The prices are fair and the quality and portion sizes are excellent. Cash, card and pay-by-phone all appear to be accepted there. The menu breaks down as follows (as of June 2023): Burrito $12.00 Taco $3.50 Quesadilla $9.00 Torta $11.00 Alambre $13.00 Elote $3.00 Tried the Asada, Tinga, Barbacoa, and Cachete tacos. All of them are fantastic.

No joke, these are the best tacos I’ve ever had. No when I’ll eat tacos somewhere else, I’ll be like “eh they weren’t as good as the truck’s”. Got two tacos and was a little worried it wouldn’t be enough. Those filled me up! They do not skimp out on the meat and fillings. It cost me $7 for those two delicious tacos but it was so worth it. I will mark this in my list of places to bring my friends. I’m glad I took a chance and stopped. (Don’t mind the pic— I already ate half of my first taco when I made this review)

Excellent tacos - super shady though. Got our order with guacamole and chips and it was very light green - weird off shade. We tasted it and it was sour. Took about 2 seconds to realize they cut the guacamole with sour cream. I called them and asked what was in it. The guy on the phone said avocado, pico de Gallo, onions. I asked, is there sour cream in it? He waited few second and then he replied, oh, yes.

I get that avocados are expensive, but it is $5 for a couple of oz of guacamole and they mixed it with sour cream (like heavily. Like not a little - it is half and half). Had to throw it out because it tasted so gross. Also lucky we aren't lactose intolerant, someone out there might get really sick.

Really bummed because we have been going there quite a bit and like them normally. Will need to find...

Got overcharged, called him out they gave the money back and tried to give us extra stuff, only problem was everything was leftover food and re heated, shouldve asked for all of my money back.

Im sure the place is okay when made fresh, we went at 6pm on a weekday thinking you would get fresh food. The chicken taco literally tasted like it had gone bad, the steak taco was just flavorless cold steak, my wife got the corn which was somehow leftover corn that we had to ask for 3 times after we paid for it and they forgot to give to us.

Seriously you guys have a restaurant and the ability to deliver good food, start doing it. Quality control will either make or break you as...
