The wings were delicious, the meat was moist, not dried out. The Spicy chicken sandwich was good but SPICY! I can handle a decent amount of spice, but this was tough to put down. A couple guys at my table were able to finish it 😅 I ordered a calzone with mushrooms and sausage, it was HUGE! After a couple wings, 1/4 of a sandwich and half a calzone, I was full! You definitely get great portions. There is a nice selection of craft beer there, you should be able to find something you like. We stuck to the Hazy IPA by Harland, it was delicious. I also had to try the La Migra Cerveza, because of the name 🤣 It was a flavorful Mexican Lager. Our reason for the visit was to watch Clippers v Lakers, and there are so many TV's, there isn't a bad seat in the house! There was also a mini arcade in the corner which I didn't examine too closely, but I'm sure plenty entertaining for little ones. There were a few pool tables, but there was pool league or some sort of tourney, so I couldn't really partake. If you want to shoot pool, I would recommend calling ahead to make sure it isn't a league night, because it seems like they don't reserve any tables for other guests. Very nice staff. I've been recommending this place since I went, and I can't wait to go back and try some more...
Read moreI think we went back for nostalgia, since the old SoCal pizza was great. I realize this place was new when we went, but three weeks after opening it shouldn’t take an hour to get a salad or an hour and 15 minutes to get a calzone. The food was decent, but not awesome enough to go back.
The biggest turn off was when we asked for water. The guy behind the bar said “we are out of water.” I’ve never heard anyone say that at a restaurant before. He made some excuse about the Coke machine not having the water line hooked up and that they were “out of bottled water.” There is literally a Ralph’s next door. Go buy some!!! When you are serving alcohol, it is irresponsible to not have water. Also, there is a Smart snd Final about 3 miles away. Go buy some pitchers (they kept running out of those for beer as well), put some ice in them and fill them up for customers. If they are cutting corners and/or costs on water, what else are they doing.
Oh well, no biggie deal. Tons of other good...
Read moreThe place has a good arcade and the inside is nicer than some of the older, “rundown” pizza places in the area. Unfortunately the pizza isn’t great. Definitely don’t come here for the pizza, but come here for the atmosphere, large TVs, separate (but small) bar and good arcade to keep the kids entertained. I had reserved a team party and was told we’d get the two big square tables, and upon arrival we saw another team sitting there. Our team had to sit elsewhere, in booths, that made it difficult for adults to come in and out of.
The service was good, they hustled trying to bring out food for two teams and all their families.
They donated two XL pizzas to our team which was very generous and appreciated! Come here for the atmosphere and game watching, but not for pizza. We’ll probably come back to watch football and order pasta. The arcade was good, definitely a bigger arcade than most pizza places and I was looking for that specifically...
