Nice Burger — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

I was excited to see an all vegan restaurant that isn't just acai bowls or something that feels overly healthy. An all vegan burger and chicken sandwich shop with 5 stars on Google sounds awesome right? Honestly it sort of is, but what fell short was the customer service and dining experience here. Staff seemed less than happy to be here and need some customer service training. It was our first time here and instead of going over some recommendations for us the cashier just stood there without saying a word just waiting for us to order. We somehow felt rushed and unwelcome, additionally no one greeted us when we walked in. The online menu said there were milkshakes but the cashier looked confused when we asked for one. We tried to make our own by ordering a soda and wanted a side of ice cream, but the guy didn't seem to understand. The burgers seem to have their own in-house "meat" rather than an impossible burger or something. This resulted in a noticeably worse burger. The menu is big, perhaps too big. I would rather they kept things In-In-Out simple here. The inside of the restaurant is nothing special and we were surprised to see it completely void of customers on a Saturday around lunch time. The burgers were pretty good, the tater tots were especially good and the drink selection is a little weird with off-brand sodas made with cane sugar or stevia. Overall we preferred a place like Plant Power or Burger Lords, even Veggie Grill. The food is by no means bad here but those places are their competition. Would we return? Maybe, but I would probably consider one of those places...

I have been a big fan and frequent customer of most of the Nice Burger locations. I first started out visiting the Costa Mesa location and then later the Santa Ana location as work took me by those places often. Then I recently started to work in Mission Viejo right off Crown Valley and Marguerite and I noticed that Nice Burger had a new location opening at the La Paz center where Ralph's is. I was so happy when I saw that they were OPEN!!

I had to stop in for a quick jr. Cheese burger with tots and ranch dressing and chipotle sauce!!! I was even more excited to find out that my friend is one of the folks who are running this location!! I was super happy and I know that this restaurant is in good hands with the staff and chefs!! Incidentally, not just the burgers are awesome, but the chicken nuggets are incredibly good. Sweet potato fries, awesome desserts made fresh!! Amazing fresh dipping sauces made everyday fresh!! And the rice oil they use to cook the tots and fries is the BEST, lightest oil and healthier than any other "fast" food around.

If you're looking for a delicious quick bite for you or the kids, I would consider coming here over eating any other kind of burgers. I know that I am eating good food and eating...

I just went there today ,a few hrs ago. I had Cali burger 🍔 😋, which was delicious !! My sister had that ,too ,but she did a combo w/ sweet potato fries 🍟 😋 was very good w/ honey mustard ( delicious ).( I had some )My brother in law had a burrito, it's goti8⁸ sweet mango ,or pineapple pieces in it ! Mom had shroom burger 🍔 😋 very delicious. Caliburger came w/ thousan island dressing . We also had organic carrots cakes !! They were good ,a bit too moistened for me ,but tasted good ! They had soft serves ,too !! I'd love to try 'em the next time !! Burgers were from $12 -$ 15 each ,the total came up around $73. For 4. And we all had water. The lady at the counter/ cashier happened to be the owner ,we begged her to open 1 in L.A.,too ! She was very friendly & explained a lot for us !! They have a toilet inside . They had outdoor tables where we could eat with my sister's dog there !! They use beyond meat patties . I highly recommend this burger place !!The owner told us they just opened 3 months ago ,there...
