Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

This place is the worst. I am a delivery driver and on several occasions have I have been dispatched to this location only to arrive and have my order not even started. They don't make the sandwiches until their line clears, which won't happen during lunch time. I have waited a full hour before, only to leave when they STILL haven't started. Today I waited 40 minutes after the order was placed. When I went up to the counter to check a second time, the same person who I checked in with when I arrived didn't remember me, even though he'd told me it would be "a few minutes" 20 minutes prior. I was told it would be at least another 20 minutes, no apologies. I don't get paid to wait so I re-assigned the order. You would never make an in store customer wait this long. Don't accept app delivery orders if you don't have the time to fulfill them or train your staff better. When the food is inevitably late, the customer will blame me even though it has nothing to do with me. Treat delivery drivers like actual customers - we go out to eat too and I don't spend my money at establishments that have...

I am a sandwich lover of no small degree. Jersey Mike's is my favorite sandwich shop by even a greater proportion. To give you an idea of how many times I enjoyed their sandwiches, I've taken advantage of their frequent incentive program (where you earn a free sandwich) over a dozen times! Jersey Mike reminds me of the 'good ole days' in Ohio, where my folks would take us to the local deli where the bread was outrageously delicious, the meet was hand sliced right before you, plied high and airy, the lettuce was thinly sliced, the condiments were freshly cut and amply applied, the spices where just right, and the price was low enough to drop by frequently. Jersey Mikes is all this and more. My fave is #13 (the ultimate sub), prepared "Mike's Way." If you plan to take your sandwich home and not devour at once, I suggest taking home the oil & vinegar and applying it just before you eat. Not doing so risks creating soggy bread. Our family enjoys Jersey Mike's; the subs are great and flavor is pretty consistent no matter which location you order from. The MV location however, has some really rude employees. Three times of bad service and attitude mainly from a female employee. the first, she made a different sandwich than I had ordered...I told her and she snapped back, "that's not what you said" after back and forth, I decided to pay for the sandwich. Second time, nothing but eye rolls and huffing and puffing. Third time, the lady in front of me was at the cashier and she said, "those 2 subs over there are mine too" to the cashier and she lipped off and replied, "yeah we know" I think the customer was in shock bc she just looked at me confused. I shrugged my shoulders...what do you do at that point?
