Biloxi Country Café — Restaurant in Mississippi

Called and made a reservation for a group on Wednesday, 14 Aug for Sunday 18 Aug, our group has been there before. Reservation was for 11:15. We got there at 11:15. There were three of us that got there about 11:05, who ordered drinks after the table was cleared. The reservation as for 12 people, we showed up with nine. Only took about ten minutes for drink orders to be taken, and they arrived fairly quickly. But it took about 15 more minutes to get our food order taken. The food arrived probably 10 minutes after that, but nobody at the table had any utensils. Even as the food was placed in front of us, not a fork to be found. All of us sat there, after asking twice for “silverware”, with our food, and nothing to eat it with. When the utensils got to us, we ate, but only the beer drinkers were ask if they wanted more to drink. My wife and I ordered the chicken fried steak, one coffee, one sweet tea, one Diet Coke, and a hamburger steak. And that’s what we got. No refills, on either soft drink, or coffee. The bill was $41.41. We were there from 11:15 to 12:20. There were two waitresses for the restaurant, while it wasn’t terribly busy, we all felt as if we could have gotten better service, and at least more to drink, if someone would have asked us if we wanted more. Our group has been there three times, first time was great, second time wasn’t bad, this time, the service, or lack thereof made the meal unenjoyable, and certainly NOT worth more than $40 for lunch on a Sunday. My husband and I were on vacation from Michigan. I googled breakfast places that serve coffee, and this cute restaurant popped up... the first day, my husband had the ham and cheese omelet with added green pepper and EXTRA onion with 2 orders of toast, and I had a pancake with my coffee! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We went back 2 more days. We missed breakfast the next 2 days, so it was great to try the other items on the menu. My husband had the hamburger with cheese and extra onion and crinkle cut fries, both were delicious. I got the quesadilla with chicken and it was supreme! The cheese in the quesadilla just melts in your mouth, the grilled chicken was tender juicy and seasoned perfectly, the onion and green pepper were cooked to perfection 👌! Needless to say we stopped in on our way back home to have the burger and quesadilla again! Also the salsa was mild and a little sweet. Chef's kiss 💋! We will be back when we come back down again. We just went to this place. We drove over from Gulfport and were anxious to try a new place. We went in and were told o find a place to sit. We sat there a few minutes and noticed there were two servers working. The table next to us had two more people going their party and and the server had just brought their drinks. The server walked right past us and said nothing. We waited another 7 minutes and had no contact with anyone. We decided to walk out when one of the servers said she would get to us soon. I told her" no thank you". Why should you seat yourself and wait for someone to at least say, " we will be with you in a minute". Poor staffing , poor customer service. There were several table that had not been cleaned which would tell me their help wasn't either doing their job or even working... We were disappointed since we drove 30 minutes to a new place for nothing.... Thanks, "BILOXI CAFE".... We will let everyone know about your lack of servers and...
