Fernando's 471 — Restaurant in Mississippi

I visit a lot of the Fernado"s quite a bit. Sometimes twice a week. The 471 location I found quite different. First, the music was wonderful. Never been to one that played music I could understand! Secondly, the chips were not at all what I had expected. All the other locations serve the chips with the seasoning on them. This is one of the main reasons I go. This location didn't have those. Just plain chips. The sauce however was wonderful. It was spicy, which the other locations are not like that. Thirdly, the serve was good, but not the best. I tip according to the service. I ask for sour cream to go with meal and I've never eaten the burrito without. This was my first. I ask for a " to go box", and also some sour cream. I think the server realized it had been forgotten. Overall, until the chips are changed, I won't be going back. Sorry, but for sure not on my list of...

I have been two this Fernando's twice now and each time was awful. The first time, the order took 30 minutes for the food to come out, the waiters forgot I was there, and I had to get the waiter to come back to the table several times. He didn't know how to make change nor did he know any manners. The second time, they took 40 minutes to get my food out, kept asked for my waiter to bring me the check, and he took even longer. Fast and timely service, the crowd is Ariel pretty small which may have something to do with it. The grease is kind what ruined it for me though. It was pretty greasy, so greasy in fact that it was a kind of revolting. But, there was very good presentation for a low end Mexican restraint. Oh, y’all get some points for having a different although strange at first cups.

For the business owner- you might want to invest in an air frier to deal with the grease. Also, hunk about replacing those lights in the back. A TV or two...
