This is a FANTASTIC BUFFET!! LOTS of food, in addition to pizza offered. TASTY, GREAT selections here. I've enclosed 7 pictures for your viewing. They have fried shrimp & fried catfish BUT ONLY ON Friday's. There's a tasty sausage gumbo and 4 other soups to choose from, a complete salad bar line-up. There's macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, and flavorful gravy, apple dessert pizza, blueberry pizza, chocolate pizza, for the desserts, and also soft serve machine for vanilla & chocolate soft serve, that actually has strong flavoring, if you like chocolate soft serve ice cream. They will make you a custom-order pizza, if there's any pizza you want; you just have to ask your server. I've also grown to like the lasagna; although, I'll say it is an "acquired" taste, because it has a distinctive cooking WINE taste to it, that some folks might find a "sour" taste to it. Fried chicken, chicken strips, and buffalo chicken nuggets can be found Mon-Thursday, Sat. & Sun. However on Fridays, and Friday's only, the chicken strips & buffalo chicken nuggets are REPLACED by Fried Catfish & Fried Shrimp. I prefer Friday's just FOR the Fried Catfish & Fried Shrimp. Very tender CATFISH on Friday's, and really meaty catfish. This is REALLY MUCH MORE than JUST a pizza buffet!!! And there a LOT of flavorful dishes served here. They also have breadsticks, and cheesy breadsticks, too. What's even BETTER is that it is reasonably priced, too!!! They offer buy-one, get-one free coupons for the buffet, so when using that coupon, it comes to be only about $17 for 2 people. The servers are attentive, and the buffet is stocked-up well, too. Whenever they run out of dishes, it gets replaced fairly soon. They really do a NICE JOB with quality of food, quality of selection, and reasonable pricing. To that end, they deserve a 5-star ++ for the BEST all-around buffet you'll find anywhere, at a great, pleasing price!! Thank...
Read moreIf you're like me, when you hear "pizza buffet" the first thing you think of is cheap, tasteless, and cardboard crust.
Sicily's will change your mind! This is not a chain restaurant, but a family owned local business. Priced just a little higher than some chain pizza buffets, you will soon find it was well worth the extra money before you even get to the pizza. The salad bar in this place, in my opinion, is the best on the coast! Even better than any of the casino salad bars! You will find the freshest vegetables including some you will never see anywhere else! Crispy celery, crunchy carrots, bright red and snappy radishes, turnips, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes... all fresh and locally grown.
Moving on to the pizza, you will find a huge selection of standard pies. If you like something a little different, tell your server and they will gladly make it for you at no extra cost! The toppings are fresh, the made-from-scratch sauces are tasty, and the crust is the kind you actually want to eat with some fresh marinara and parmesan cheese.
If pizza is not what you're craving and you ended up here because everyone else wanted pizza, there are plenty of other traditional Italian dishes on the buffet, made from pasta imported from straight from Italy. Or if you're just a meat and potatoes kind of person, they have you covered there as well, with several southern comfort food options, all on the buffet.
For dessert, you can chose between chocolate or banana pudding, bread pudding, assorted cobblers, cookies, and a self service soft-serve ice-cream machine.
To summarize: I don't believe there is a buffet on the coast that can compete with this one! For about $13 not only can you eat as much as you want, but the quality of the food is far superior to buffets at...
Read moreWe were pretty upset for our first time here. The food is average taste. They do have a lot of variety of pizza and it is nice to see so many other options to make the whole family happy. The Sicilian kicking chicken was the best thing in the buffet. Our waitress was the sweetest women and super fast. However, we were upset to be charged 3.9% to use a card. We called before we went and they never mentioned it when we asked about pricing. We also called ahead to see if they would honor my bariatric card . The man on the phone said no problem I would just be charged the kids price for a 12 year old. When we arrived the cashier didn’t know what the card was so she called a man from the back to help. His disposition was clear that he was not happy about me using my card. He shook his head at me with an attitude the whole time she rang it up and continued to shake his head in disgust all the way back to the kitchen. We would have walked out and left after this if we didn’t have a toddler that was not going to leave without pizza. The way he handled the situation was rude and uncalled for. If it made him that angry he could have just said he would not honor it and go on instead of embarrassing me. The 3 star rating is more for the treatment and price than the food itself. The food was good just not great for the price. Unless you really want to try a bunch of different pizzas, pay the extra and go to the palace buffet instead. We will not be back but if we had been treated differently we might have given it one...
