May 2023 The food is delicious! Best BBQ in town and best BBQ I have had in years. The prices are good and the portions are large. The staff is very wonderful, nice and professional.

July 2024 Tommy's also offers his delicious food for large party orders. They just need a couple to a few days in advance. What I really loved about ordering through Tommy's for a retirement party is they sent me my order ticket through text which included my name, my phone number, the date and the time I was to pick up my order. This really put my mind at ease.

November 2024 Took my husband here for his birthday lunch, his dad, his brother, his brothers GF and their little one also came. I got the street Tacos - delicious 🤤 first time getting those. My husband got brisket - a fattier option I believe, Mac n cheese, potato salad and a slab of pork ribs - he stated, "It's the best BBQ restaurant wise." His dad got boneless ribs, collard greens and another side - delicious. I'm unsure what his brother & his GF got, but I know they got Texas Twinkies and cheese grits - delicious! We went back for dessert my husband got the brownie, I got the Tres Leches Cake - which I've never had. The brownie - delicious and the Tres Leches - delicious!! My husband and I spent a little over $100, but it's A LOT of food and we have left overs. I would do it again in a heartbeat. We look forward to coming back again in the future.

May 2025 Remembered the photos this time! The brisket tacos are always a must and so is the Tre Leches Cake 🤤 we got the smoke house single burger for later and that is the best burger I have ever had! The toppings tasted so fresh and the burger patty itself was delicious!!

September 2025 Back again! Of course I've been here since my last entry, but today I tried something new. Tommy's Big Papa w/ all the fixings which is a giant spud, with your choice of meat - brisket for me, sour cream, liquid cheese, pico, crema, butter & of course I had to drizzle some BBQ sauce on there. Delicious, it's HUGE fed 2 people.

I saw this place online and they were set to close at the exact minute I would have arrived at the restaurant, 8PM. The lady who took the call was so sweet and accommodating. Even though it was the end of the day, she took the time to tell me what foods they had left. Explained to me that if I placed my order before closing time, that they would let me in. I placed the order immediately and arrived at exactly 8pm. The owner, Mr. Tommy was there and greeted me as if he knew me. All of the staff there were very friendly. Could not tell that they were finishing a shift nor, which I’m sure was the case, that they were annoyed by my late order. Absolutely excellent customer service! And the food is absolutely spectacular! These collard greens with rib meat are so flavorful and juicy. The pork ribs are seasoned to perfection, and the Texas twinkies will make you pass out, they are so good. The type of good that you close your eyes, lean back, and start dancing! I will definitely be back to this place and will make sure all of my staff and guests know to check...

Great BBQ in the area so far, and they had a decent selection of craft beer. Outside seating, old blues playing, and fans a blowing. This time of year was very nice to sit outside. First thing, I love salt, and for me, the food was fantastic. For others, it might be a touch too salty. The baby backs were just about perfect; tender with some pull, seasoned well, but for me, I would like a touch more smoke. The brisket was amazing. I asked for the fattier piece, and was not disappointed. Tender, tasty, but maybe a touch salty for some. The collard greens were top notch, but maybe salty for some. When I return, and it will be soon, I'm trying the pull pork and beef ribs, and probably the greens again. I will be ordering the brisket and ribs again. They were that good.
