Hartz Chicken Buffet — Restaurant in Missouri City

Today was a very rainy day. Got out of the car, climb the stairs in the rain only to find it is take out only. I'm okay with that. I go to the drive-thru it took 10 minutes for my order to be taken. Which was a very simple 10 piece for 1199 and a half a dozen yeast rolls. It took 1 hour for me to get my order, if I had my way I would have left and came back another day but it is only a one lane car drive through you cannot move to the right you just have to wait wait and wait until each customer receive the order now if I could I would have drove away but since I was stuck in the one lane drive through all I could do was just waited. There were two cars ahead of me, yet it took 1 hour before I got to the window to pay for my simple order. Only to find that it was burnt!!! what is the worst tasting Fried Chicken but burnt chicken. Terrible Terrible Terrible! I'm from the KC Missouri area where we have go chicken go and you can buy a half or a full pound of gizzard or liver. I decided to give this place a try. I get here and my boyfriend orders though the speaker. We get to the window and the lady asked if she got out order correct. We told her no it was quite simple.... 1st order 12 liver meal with mashed potatoes and 12 gizzard with a roll. 2nd order a gizzard meal with fries. We tried explaining this to the window lady over and over but she was convinced she was correct in her wrong impression of what we ordered. We finally compromised due to being tire s of arguing and also being in the waiting drive thru line and allowed her to believe she was correct. I came here 12/07/2024. The door was locked but google maps said they’re open. Then I figured they are drive thru only at this point. Waited 20 mins to talk to a middle aged lady and she has the attitude of a rebellious teenager. She clearly let out a sigh when I made a change in my order. Thru the window we could see how dirty the inside looked. And she gave us our food with no napkins, no sauce, no utensils. Clearly she doesn’t get paid enough to be happy to work here. The management of this establishment either needs to pay attention to the negative reviews and fix it or you will be out of business soon. The customers cannot be treated this way and expected to come back. Oh, and the food tasted like the misery of the people who work here. You could taste their unhappiness in this...
