Donuts Mama — Restaurant in Missouri City

First of all, the donuts are excellent. You can stop here if that’s all you need to know. I purchased 3 donuts and 3 kolaches for a total of $15. I asked for mild and received 2 mild and 1 w/ jalapeños. I called to let them know as I frequent the establishment and since this is the 2nd time this happened; it was a heads up. The first person on the phone denied that they even make mild kolaches. The 2nd proceeded to challenge me based on the typical location of the ones with jalapeño. There was no , I apologize….. I let her know that this is simply a courtesy call and I was not asking for anything. I didn’t appreciate being challenged by what is typically done. Common sense good service. I started to get in my car and bring it back; but, alas I will save my energy. I struggle as to whether I will continue to patronize this establishment. I purchased the kolache for my son who cannot tolerate jalapeños. Respect and good customer service does matter. Do better. Best Donuts has excellent customer service; perhaps take note. You guys are just a little closer… The first time I came in the store Garlic was spelled Gaelic. I mentioned it and was met with defensive. I am an ally. I give the benefit of the doubt and the courtesy of communication. I hope you learn to serve your customers...

Found this little shop at the corner of the strip mall; absolute serendipity. Biting into the yeast raised donut is like sinking your teeth into delicious cinnamon sugar dusted clouds. The bacon-wrapped boudain kolache combines the best flavors of cajun spices and the Eastern European soft dough. Cherry danish is fruity and not too sweet. Vietnamese iced coffee is delicious with a strong kick, and pairs well with the donuts and kolache we ordered. The owner, Yuri, is super friendly and warmed up the kolache and danish for us. Definitely a 5 star eatery. Step aside, Dunkins and Shipley's!

Next time we go, we plan to try their breakfast tacos that people rave about, and the croissant sandwiches, and of course, more donuts!! 😉

Was having a bad morning and decided I could treat myself with a nice snack. The woman in the drive thru was extremely happy and her smile made me smile! I ate a half dozen donut holes at the light! They are so light and delicious! I didn't have any left by the time I made it home! The apple fritters are full of flavor and perfectly sweet. I can't wait to come back for the kolaches! Went back the next day for the kolaches and turkey croissant sandwich and it was great, fresh. Even got 4 dozen donut holes! I really love them! I'm hooked!
