Rise & Grind Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Missouri Valley

Stopped in looking forward to a new shop. There's no price list (that I noticed) and my 3 shot plain latte rang up at almost $8, which is an incredibly high price. The barista didn't steam the milk properly - barely stretched the milk, then set the pitcher down flat and just let it scream while she stepped away even though she wasn't working on any other drinks. I never saw her pull any shots so after she brought me the drink I asked her about it - her response was "oh, I made some earlier." I'd waited at least ten minutes to place my order (which is fine, the shop works off a one group head machine) so those shots were at least that old.

I left the drink on the counter and walked out. Incredibly horrible service at ridiculously...

Looks like a full on revitalization of a historic downtown store front and inside! Ok maybe not historic but seriously, how long have those buildings lined that street?? Onward! The inside looks fresh and inviting, comfortable and relaxing vs being dark and mysterious. Feels like you’re waking up gently to bright, yet soft interior colors, easy readin, good drinks and just the right amount of food to keep you from grumbling. what about the coffee!? dang, you know what?
