Dudley's — Restaurant in Missouri

My nephew and I went there because my husband and I discovered it when we were dating and we had the most wonderful meals there together and I am a true bacon cheeseburger lover and they have got the best I've ever had my husband always ordered steak and he said it was great and one night it was a special occasion and he ordered the biggest steak they had and he couldn't get around it so they home cook everything like the roast beef is is a huge chunk of beef that they get and they they slice it and cook it all themselves but nothing comes pre done it's all home cooked and it is family owned and is fabulous and for those of you who still smoke cigarettes you can smoke in the restaurant which is just unheard of you now but they do have smoking rooms because they're outside City Limits so they are allowed to have a smoking room and then they also have non-smoking room that is very sunny and pleasant to sit in and downloading so either way. The only thing of concern is to make sure that you have either cash or a card that you can get money out of their ATM because they do not accept debit or credit cards. The food is very good. It's like a small town diner with good food at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is simple & plain, but that makes it a calmer, quieter place than many restaurants, and a more pleasant place to visit with friends over a meal. First time here. We stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They were busy but we got a seat immediately. The service is great and they are really friendly. My wife had the country ham and biscuit and gravy, I had the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough with hashbrowns. They were both very good.
