Edit they are now refusing to take my order or give me one, they said people got fired, but there were 7 people working grill area and the dt piling up, their manager says they are not allowed to take dt orders when they are busy.they said someone got fired but there were still a bunch of people in grill area. A customer in the lobby said he had been waiting 40 min. I have now been here 35
Edit 7:12pm 6/10/24 they still only take one order at a time. 4 cars deep at the speaker and the car at the window has to get their food before anyone can get their order taken. What’s the point of a drive thru????
Edit again, the line was starting to pile up, and hardly anyone was in the parking lot., so i had to physically get out of my vehicle and walk to the window to find out why they are ignoring people. They insist that their managers are requiring them to only take and make one order at a time, except they are making DT customers wait extra. After having to get out of my car (cause we can’t leave) and talking to them at the window, the lady in front of me gave up and left. Then they told me to hold. No new customers in DT, and no one in front of me. And they tell me to hold. I can’t even get my order taken. Now i’m sitting here at the window, my order has not been taken, and i’ve been here 15 min. And there are multiple people just standing at the window, it makes Zero Sense we think they are fighting with corporate, either way the person who loses is the customer.
starting to feel like gambling with my money and my dinner time they let one person order at DT speaker and then, while everyone can hear, make them wait for 3-5 min and then let them pull forward. When they do pull forward they don't even get their order right away. When you go inside to see how many people they got 4 workers in grill, one manager, and two people at the window... the nice spoken dude at the window doesn't do much while the grill guys make one order at a time, but ALSO ONLY TAKE ONE ORDER AT A TIME which defeats the entire purpose of the DT. They swear their manager makes them do it. Also my cheesy bean and rice never has all the sauce and ABSOLUTELY NEVER has it spread out., It's always dripping out one end only. My crispy cantina taco was half empty, couldn't find store number bc no receipt was given, when called store they never answer (even with 7 people working and only taking one order at a time) , so I had to hoof it all the way back just to get the store number. There are a handful of truly nice people and good workers at this store. The customer experience at the window and speaker is fine, it's the DT practices, making people wait to cheat on times for corporate for their silly internal war, and the loot box food. you never know what...
Read moreThis place has potential, but there's so much wrong with it.
There's a recessed area in the wall near the door. Guys post up and loiter there like panhandlers, watching the cars come and go. It doesn't feel safe to sit in the lot and eat your tacos in your car.
The staff is flat and angry with attitudes like the clients are bothering them just by pulling up to the drive through. The lady rolls her eyes, doesn't have any traditional customer service ethics about her. Really flat, and detached, and unhappy to be there.
The beef on the tacos wasn't hot, wasn't warm, wasn't even room temperature. It was COLD. So they must not be keeping their food warmers at a measured/acceptable temperature which is a risk for food poison.
I didn't bother taking the food back because 1. I didn't want to walk pass the two men loitering in the recessed area near the entrance. And 2. I didn't want to have to play past the lady's lackadaisical indifferent attitude just to ask for hot food. She had the type of attitude that would say something like, 'how you expect us to make your food hot when you can just Microwave it.'?
I'm not being paranoid about the loiterers. There was only TWO cars on the parking lot when I pulled into the drive through. The two loiterers were talking to two other guys, who were sitting on one of the car hoods.
I saw atleast two workers inside, a guy and the lady at the window. When i was pulling away after receiving my drive thru order, one of the cars was gone and I initially saw NO (zero) men outside the restaurant. As I slowed to consider a place on the 'empty' lot to park and eat, TWO of the 4 men, stepped forward out of the shadows of that recessed area near the door and appeared to be watching/guaging whether or not i was going to park. I opted to drive away instead.
They didn't work there. No reason to be out there. It was 730pm, dark, cold and drizzling misty rain.
It doesn't appear safe. The parkinf lot is dark at night. The food is substandard. Customer service and quality control are ZERO -non existent. I won't go back. I wouldn't...
Read moreI go here occasionally since it's the only Taco Bell near my work. Everytime I hope the experience will be better, but it's not. They have got to be the slowest workforce I've ever seen. It's always 30 or more minutes in the drive thru, resulting in me being late back to work so going here while on the clock is not an option. Well tonight was the last straw. I thought I'd take a chance and try using the mobile app to place my order. Maybe it would be quicker since they can have my food ready when I got there. Well when I did get there the store was closed. During their posted business hours, around 7:00 PM. No sign explaining or apologizing, just locked doors. I even tried the drive thru but no response. When I pulled away I saw a woman inside and waited at the window to ask why they were closed, but she never acknowledged I was there. Worse part is, after I got back to work I checked the mobile app and my order showed it was marked as received and in progress of being made. Because of this I was unable to cancel the order and my card was charged. If the store wasnt open, then the app shouldn't have let me place the order and obviously it wasn't being made. I just checked it again after 2 hours and it still shows that it's being made and should be ready for pickup soon. I will be calling corporate to complain and get my money back. I love Taco Bell but avoid this location...
