Okay, I have to leave an honest review. I used to come here 3-7 or more times a week, and it was seriously hit or miss on their flavored lattes. Now I will say that the woman, I think owner (she has a tattoo sleeve with a peacock I think) makes amazing lattes every time, I think she had real training as a barista or a major enthusiast. I would cross my fingers and hope to God she answered the window. But, it was the other employees that you just never know what you are gonna get. Some were so disgusting that I had to embarrassingly take them back and ask them to remake them, and they would, but it tasted just as bad as the first time they made it and when I got out of site, I'd throw it away, and was so sad to just throw 6 bucks in the trash can. After about 4 times of that, I just decided to buy my own espresso machine and make them from home. I'm not sure if they don't understand how to set the proper grind to the machine, because the biggest issue was the sourness of the espresso shots, like the grind was too high and the water was passing through too quickly and she was allowing 2 ounces espresso in 10sec instead of 25-30sec. And I'd order cafe breve or creme and I think they'd use fat free milk (maybe they thought I wouldn't notice?), because their was no microfoam, little to no stretching of the milk proteins, just watered down yuck...they were just gross. I'm just not sure what all went wrong with these lattes, but they were gross and it just kept happening waaaay too often, and I couldn't with a good conscience just keep giving them my hard earned money hoping this would be the time I got a good one. So point is, beware of the inconsistency in their drinks. Employees need much...

Friendly people, great service, and good atmosphere. Proper cappuccino (ordered 16 oz doppio, dry [I lived in Italy for 3 years])π, though it was served in a Styrofoam cup π. Very good coconut macaroon (a weakness of mine!). ππ They also have a nice assortment of pastries.
Bean has a liquor license and serve beer and wine. Their sandwich and salad menu of typical coffee shop fare (including some vegetarian offerings) has reasonable pricing.
Bean uses plush napkins - a luxurious touch! π€
Seating is OK, but gets old after a while (wooden seat stools at a long, tall, table / rattan chairs at wooden tables / hard metal seats at metal tables on the fenced-in outdoor patio).
Austere appointments in an old building with brick walls and an aged tin ceiling that provides a quaint feel with light jazz playing in the background. Nice!
Two VERY clean...
Β Β Β Read moreI've visited quite a few times and have never had a bad experience! Coffee is always good, but as mentioned in a few other reviews, some days are different than others when it comes to ordering as there are a few different baristas working. That being said I've never had a bad coffee here! Sandwiches are fantastic, Chicken and Jam (or turkey and Jam in my case) is delicious, Bean Club is also great, and he'd pasta salad is delicious too if you're ordering sandwiches! If you're ordering for lunch make sure to call ahead because they get very busy around lunch, other than that it's hands down my favorite place to...
