Place needs cleaning (still), the Health Dept Score is Hidden (Has now been placed in the open), and the Owner is very very rude and will be extremely disrespectful if you ask questions. Go on and ask them if they have a steamed dumpling that is browned on one side.. they will become a smart butt real quick. Go Somewhere else. The place is dirty, and run down, and they are rude there is no need to support a business that should at a minimum be courteous, and respectful, and answer questions about the food you intend to order. I wasn't asking anything unrealistic. 2 (assumed) males and 4 (assumed) ladies who were customers also agreed that my question was valid and didn't call for her attitude. Bad Place to support. This is one of my most favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh, well prepared and tasty. Their prices are really fair for the amount of food you get. They need to update their surroundings but what can you expect from Theodore. As far as the "rude lady" on the phone I think some people need to understand English is not her first language and so sometimes her tone is more urgent than necessary. What is important, anytime I have ordered for delivery my order was correct and they were very friendly when I came to pick my order up. That is all that matters to me. Been eating here ever since it opened back in the 90's, they lease the property from Sydney's same that owns sydneys in bayou la batre, they have been told many times about updating especially the parking lot and building but they can't afford to and these peoples bills are high, this is a lovely family who works hard, I've seen this family grow, this is one of the only places I eat that I would never need a coupon, am happy to pay full price and throw extra in, the food is always really good, no msg used, I eat here regularly, it's just such a shame someone's exploiting them...
