The best thing I can say is the ribs were phenomenal. Everything else from a business standpoint was unacceptable being I'm a business owner personally. My order was taken at 1:13 pm. My wife waited inside on the order I did have several orders so I understood it would be a minute. I did not assume it would be 45 minutes later. Then to add sugar to the banana pudding (icing to the cake)🤣🤣 my order still wasn't complete because the cook "had to go next door and get the wings plus they was short handed. If that's the case why not communicate this 20 minutes into the wait don't wait. The building was extremely small for vast number of people coming in and out. I told the young lady behind the counter i could not wait and additional 15 minutes for those wings. Her reply was "It don't take 15 minutes for no wings" I replied I will not wait please refund me my money. To which she replied "Don't worry about it I will sell them to someone else". In my head i was thinking cool at least they w9nt have to wait 15 minutes for some wings. 🤣🤣🤣 I referred here from a good friend of mine who said he knew Mr Rodger from several times visiting in the past. In town for work and my co-worker directed me here. For starters, you can always find the best BBQ at a BBQ Shack and no offense to the owner that's what this was. Not visually appealing from a business standpoint, but hey for me it was about the food. There was a line of people ahead of me .. that was a good sign. I ordered the rib plate with macaroni and cheese and greens as my sides. I also ordered banana pudding and the peach cobbler being greedy. Man, I threw down when I got back to my room and the food was amazing. I had 4 bones I didn't get BBQ sauce because good BBQ doesn't need it and this did not. It was a good portion of both sides. Mac n' cheese was close to mine.. smile and greens were flavored well. You get two pieces of white bread and cornbread which was cool. The food is really good at Rogers BBQ. I ordered the chicken and rib dinners, along with smoke wings. The sides I selected were the macaroni and cheese, sweet potato soufle and green beans. The food is very feeling, nice size portions, and preparation of food is good too. I do not reside in the Mobile area, but when I do visit, it is a must stop on the list. Be adivsed that Rogers is not a place to sit and eat because there is no seating. You order your food and leave. The staff are friendly and knowledge about thw food menu. Parking can get tight due to the small parking lot. The cost versus value is fair. I spent about 37 dollars for 3 meals and recieved 2 drinks. The sauce is tasty too.
