My family has been enjoying Papa Murphy's Pizza for over a decade. I have brought my children in with me and gone though the drive-thru. Today I stopped by to order one pizza. After making my order and paying. I had the line cook accuse me of shopping there last week. Consistently badgering me for answers. Asking if I came in with my son and a man. I tried explaining to him that I haven't been there since the previous month. That my husband never comes in with me. As he's normally at work. When he finally got to the point of why he kept asking me these questions. He told me that last week I had supposedly been the customer who came in. When he rang up the order he did not ring up the full order. Apparently the woman had stolen a pizza. I attempted to level with him on my previous experience with customer service. As I have dealt with customer service for over 20 years. His manager at first sounded like she was attempting to apologize for his rude behavior. Once I had told her look if that was me I would have looked at my receipt and came in and paid for the rest of my order. I don't steel. I got the "sure you would" response. That tells me that she also did not believe I was not the woman who had robbed them. So not only was the young man accusing me of theft so was the manager. As they both continued to say they wouldn't charge me for the stolen Pizza. I understand what they were saying that he made a mistake with last week's order for that customer. But to continue to accuse me of being that customer. Not listen to a word coming out of my mouth that I had not been there since last month. Is highly unprofessional and not acceptable behavior. You do not profile your customers in such a manner. Deciding anybody with the same physical appearance as another person to be the same person. This has me left with a bad vibe of not really wanting to return to that store and location until both the manager and that employee are no longer seen as employees of the store. I know the old manager from when I was a kid he was a nice man and I don't understand how it went so far downhill within the past year. Sorry but until this is resolved. I will no longer be coming to this location. As I am a frequent returning customer. I didn't even get a formal apology for the...
Read moreWe picked up take and bake pizzas from Papa Murphy's in Moline this afternoon and the young man running the drive through stacked four 14" pan pizzas in one hand... turned them sideways... and passed them through the skinny drive through window... I couldn't believe what he was doing, and would have been surprised if all four pizzas were going to make it into the car safely... but since this is what he chose to do I reached both arms out of the car to grab them, and just as I was grabbing the pizzas he let go of them... he didn't try at all to balance the pizzas as he was handing them through the window, he didn't say anything like "be careful" or "let me know when you've got 'em" as he was handing the flimsily supported stack of pizzas through the narrow window... as soon as he "thought" I had them he just let go... Honestly it felt like he did it on purpose, but I have no real reason to believe he did it intentionally... That said, he definitely was being neglectful with the pizzas and didn't really care if they were damaged at all by tipping them 90 degrees and smashing them together on the way out the window... needless to say all four pizzas fell flat on the concrete drive through ground... The young man then closed the drive through window after saying literally nothing... I went inside and asked the young man if he knew it was his fault, which he immediately denied and started accusing me of dropping the pizzas because he believed I was touching them so therefore it must be my fault :eyeroll:... After realizing that the young man did not believe it was his fault at all and he did nothing to apologize or attempt to clean up the mess or anything, I told the manager that he should be fired since he has that attitude. He then proceeded to make verbal threats saying something about if he saw me outside in the parking lot or something he'd hurt me... just wow, I don't need this today... Thankfully the manager there was polite and patient and gave us a full refund. We will not be getting take and bake pizza's ever again from Papa Murphy's after...
Read moreI have been to Papa Murphy’s 3 times since moving to the quads. The first time I was in rock island, the customer service was great and they explained how they work to me. Much can’t be said for this location in Moline. The pizza was fine, The customer service is terrible! If you have any questions forget about getting a straight forward and helpful answer. I was last here(been to this location twice) on 12/15/17 and I had a coupon for a free two liter and s’mores pizza. When I proceeded to check out, the lady who rang me out told me I couldn’t get a cinnamon roll so I voided the coupon. I told her I got the right dessert so it should be able to be checked out. She insisted I got the wrong dessert so I had to show her that their store had a s’mores pizza label ont the WRONG item! I told her I’ve never gotten any of the desserts there and that I didn’t know the difference. She didn’t apologize about their mistakes, but proceeded to brush it off and blame someone else for the error! I will not spend my money at this...
