Hardee’s — Restaurant in Monroe City

I have lived in this town 10 years now, and tried multiple times to give this place a try hoping I had just caught them on bad days. But alas, i can not go back again. Of the 5 times I have eaten here, mold in the lobby fountain drink dispensor, breakfast sandwhich seems hot on the houtside but had frozen disc of egg inside, tavke tops sticky from spilled drinks not cleaned leaving nowhere to sit that felt clean, and I happen to be family to a former employee who had gone to work to find septic backed up in the cooking space with a plumber who had a snake drain going, splashing fecal matter everywhere, people told to keep cooking and taking orders, and the GENERAL manager and store manager had refused to allow the employees to close the entire store. "Just close the lobby, its fine" they were all told. When the shift manager fought to keep public safety and health the first thing they gave attention to, they were met with backlash and subsequently quit because the people above them would not close for contamination concerns. E.coli is a huge problem in this country. At that time, the state was ranking 4th in the country for E.coli outbreaks. Guess how you get it? It took the health inspector going in to close the store down during that mess. Now the manager is on facebook asking for positive reviews, offering a free meal for those reviews. They go through so many employees because the employees get no support when needed, and the food is honestly...

I used to enjoy Hardee’s food however, just moving to this area, I find that the priorities, quality & service at local fast food restaurants is extremely Poor! On one visit I ordered onion rings and my order was burnt & greasy. A few months later, I decided to give them one more chance, ordered a crescent bacon, cheese & egg breakfast sandwich. If there was any bacon, It was so unflavorable, I had to check to sandwich to be sure it even had any bacon on it! I always lied the bacon egg & cheese crescent sandwich for its a hot moist buttery sandwich and very satisfying! This one was dry and the crescent was burnt so badly on the split side of the crescent it overpowered the entire flavor made the whole sandwich taste like charcoal! This was only 2 visits, months apart and they did have a complete turnover of staff, whom I don’t believe any can cook! Someone needs to open a competitive franchise, nearby and serve good quality food & service. That would be a wake up call to either improve or put Hardee’s themselves out of business. Don’t know who the proprietors are but they are not attending to the business to insure repeat business turnover by making certain GOOD, FRESH, FLAVORFUL QUALITY menu items are served hot and fast! Stopped here on my way to Florida. It was 10:50 am. Only Breakfast .enu was up. I waited for her to get done with the drive through order. She Then I ask me what I would like to order. I said so you're still serving breakfast and she said no that stopped at 10:30. And like were you only have the breakfast menu up? I don't know what to order so then she starts turning the menu to launch afternoon menu. And it's having trouble with that and I asked her if they had it especially. And she never answered me and then took another order from the drive through and eventually the manager came around and took my order and I ordered the chicken strip. Meal which from what I could see was. 8.99 or 9.99. But I was charged 10.99 for some reason and I had a small fry and small drink so there should not have been an upcharge then there Was 3 Customers Behind me who all got their orders before me and one of them had chicken strips as well so I know it wasn't a wait on the chicken. The chicken strips tasted like they were cooked in old grease. They were dark Brown. Not light Brown and crispy the curly fries were actually good. I was very disappointed because I enjoy Hardee's and try to purchase food from them whenever I can on my travels...
