This place is hands down the BEST bbq in the area. Me and my husband are very picky when it comes to bbq. We’ve tried so many places and leave feeling disappointed when the brisket is dry and the sides have no flavor. Not Space City Bbq though! This place was so good!!!! We’ve been twice in one week and have been able to try almost everything. Unfortunately, our wallets can’t keep up with our appetite for this place but we will definitely be regulars from now on. The brisket is so moist and the beef rib is out of this world 🤤 do yourself a favor and go when they open, so you can make sure you don’t miss out! Oh and grab some potato salad as well, you won’t regret it. Don’t be surprised if they sell out before closing time, when the bbq is this good..people know not to wait! Also, if you follow them on FB, they post updates for what they’ll be serving the next day or if they are sold out for the day. Seriously, so stoked to know this place exists. Oh and the people that run the truck are really kind! So the atmosphere and food...
Read moreOutstanding Texas BBQ. Watch out for Space City BBQ, cause they comin!!! Brisket was juicy, tender and flavorful without being mushy or overly salty/rich. Turkey was perfect, and I do not use that word lightly. I mean..... it was PERFECT. They put tons of love into the sides as well, just like true pit masters do. It's rare that a BBQ joint doesn't have 1 or 2 blind spots, but Space didn’t put a toe wrong on brisket, turkey, corn side, beans, Mac n cheese OR the sauces (serve ots, for sure). Only thing we didnt try was a dessert, but I'd but your life and mine, they are also great.
Only reason atmosphere isn't a 5 is because imo, by rule, trucks can't have 5 star ambiance and atmosphere. Now, as far as truck atmosphere goes, they hit all the right notes. Shade, music, fans, and rustic but comfortable furnishings.
Fan for life here, Space Cowboys!!! Yall keep on killin it, cause I'm here for every damned...
Read morePicked up four regular pulled pork tacos today. As they handed over my order, they dropped a preview of tomorrow's special (the Korean Taco) and asked for my thoughts. I was nothing short of pumped to get home and demolish this magnificent meat medley. First sight? Slightly concerning. Crumpled lettuce, strips of raw onions (I HATE raw onions...that is, until...), and sesame seeds. But I know better than to judge a book by its cover. Positioned everything properly. Proceeded to decimate half the taco in one bite. I have no regrets. The crisp crunch of lettuce and onions hit first. Shocking, considering my general onion aversion. But these worked perfectly. The meat? Always bangin', as expected. The whole composition just... clicked. Bottom line: If I'm ordering three tacos tomorrow, two of them are Korean. The regular can have the...
