I struggle reviewing small town restaurants. Overall O'bella is an amazing small town restaurant. From the outside it looks like a remodeled Wendy's. Inside, it's a very well decorated quaint Italian restaurant. And they are obviously very popular! Every table was occupied and come to find out they had a ton of take out orders. We were seated quickly but after a very long wait for our server to greet us it took even longer to have our order taken. Then we were told our would be an hour wait because of all the take out orders. I would think the kitchen would give dine-in priority? We ordered breadsticks for an appetizer. They were absolutely wonderful with a marinara and a ranch sauce for dipping. It was my main course where I was very disappointed. Whenever I visit a new Italian restaurant and I see Bolognese on the menu I have to try it. Most often I am very disappointed and this was no exception. Bolognese is a meat sauce that has some tomato in it. What I got a tomato sauce with meat in it. They know better. What's worse it was served luke warm and under seasoned. I would like to visit again and try the Chicken Marsala.

TL;DR Delicious food and amazing service! We came here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and there was plenty of parking in front. We were warmly greeted upon entering. We waited a little bit to be seated, but were given menus in the meantime to keep us occupied. The decor is upscale and romantic, while being comfortable and cozy at the same time. Once seated, our drink and appetizer orders were quickly taken. We started with two orders of bread sticks and a calamari. The bread sticks are garlicky and oh so buttery; some of the best bread sticks I've ever had! The calamari was light, crisp and delicious; make sure you get the lemon aioli which pair perfectly with it. For our mains we ordered the black truffle Mac and cheese with bacon, Margherita pizza, and a chicken Caesar salad with minestrone soup. Everything was fantastic! The older lady that was our waitress was very kind and attentive to all our dining needs! Our dining experience at O'bella was perfect! Food is delicious, comfortable atmosphere with above and beyond customer service. An absolute must go if you're in Anaconda!

From the moment you walk in, the smells from the kitchen make your mouth water. We stopped in on a whim and, oh boy, we were shocked. We don't eat out much, due to my wife being a professional chef. The bar she sets is tough to compete with, but O'Bella! has knocked it out of the park. I have not had Italian food this good since leaving the east coast. I can confidently say that this is our new favorite place. Excellent wait staff, incredible food, perfect sized menu (not overdone). The black truffle mac and cheese is to die for, perfectly cooked pasta and the flavor the chef developed is out of this world. If you are looking for a fantastic dining experience, look no further. I am upset that I didn't know about this place sooner. Thank you so much for our amazing dinner!

If negative star ratings were available, Obellas earned it tonight. For a small Italian restaurant, I have never witnessed such unfriendly, and combative attitudes from the FOH. My wife called to make reservations, but was informed only if you have a party of six or more. We walked in, and the grumpy, smile less elderly hostess quickly shot us a question, 'did you call in advance?' Understanding telepathically that we should have not called in to make a reservation, but to 'put our name on the wait list'. This lady should be dealing with garbage removal, not welcoming customers. 30 minutes wait for the table was understandable. But listening to FOH take order after order, and watching the kitchen literally back up to the point of implosion. We sat at our table, after consuming meatballs and breadsticks, for nearly 2 hours. We asked for our food to go, and left with a small pepperoni pizza, Mac-n-cheese and a chicken parm. We had to make a point to receive a discount on our food for the terrible wait and worse service. Funny how the meatballs and breadsticks were comped, and not the entrees that we had to eat out of Styrofoam boxes. The kitchen, which you can see from the front counter, looked like a war zone. Trash piled higher than the stainless steel prep surface, line cooks rubbing their eyes from being overwhelmed (not wearing gloves or washing hands after the facial rub either), tickets and plates all over the place and a general look of complete breakdown. After all this, do yourself a favor, if you are visiting Anaconda, make PB &J sandwiches ahead of time, and spend less time at Obella's. Focus on your dining customers, instead of burying your kitchen staff with to go orders. Mangia!!! I really wanted an affogato too...

What a horrible experience! The food was meh, not bad but not great. Pretty dry pasta. The waitress was mean and rude. We could not hear each other speak because the music was so loud. Not to mention oppressive as we both have hearing issues to start with. We tried to deal with it as we didn't want to be a bother, but it became too much when we couldn't hear each other anymore. My fiance, who is usually a real jerk, was very polite and asked her, again, very nicely, if it was possible to do something about the loss music and she was just plain nasty to him. Said it wasn't her job to control it, it was the manager's. Didn't offer to talk to the manager for us or have that person speak to us, just huffed, rolled her eyes and walked off. Brought our food out a bit later, much later than the big table that got there 30 minutes after us, the only other table in the whole empty place, and never came back to the table except to drop our check on it. Again rolling her eyes with not a word spoken. What was supposed to be a very special afternoon for us turned into a terrible experience and we couldn't even talk to each other during our meal. I tell everyone I know not to come here and waste their money on mediocre food and rotten service. No one deserves to be treated the way we were. I have to add that I left in tears because it was my decision, not his, to eat here. If I had it to do over, I would drive to Deer Lodge to eat at McDonald's for our...

The wait staff is unnecessarily mean. Very rude girls clearly inconvenienced by patrons. The eye rolls and sighing over and over made that apparent. My wife is a vegetarian and asked for a salad with no meat and the waitress came back with bacon on the salad, we politely reiterated the request and brought it to her attention that there was bacon on the salad. When asked if we could get a different salad. Her response was “really?!” She snatched the salad plate off the table, grunted and swiftly walked away. We never received our drink, after politely reminding her twice. I always tip a minimum of 20%, she was so rude to us and especially mean to my wife, giving her dirty looks every time she past by. This is the first time in 40 years of dinning out I did not leave a tip. I asked to speak to the manager on shift, I was directed to a very short haired woman who was also clearly inconvenienced by me. She could have cared less about my complaints. She said she was most tenured staff member but not a manager, that this restaurant has no manager. I asked about an owner, and was told the owner is never on site. I hope that owner at least sees this review and the MANY other reviews I see posted here about their staff. Your employee’s attitudes are ruining...
