Iāve not had any good experiences here at the Subway in Lolo, MT. There was one night I arrived at around 7:50 PM when the store closes at 9 PM. The young guy behind the counter looked at me and said āmaybe I could close early if customers would stop coming inā, well he had one of his friends sitting in the corner eating Subway And then begrudgingly went along to make my sandwich and the customer behind meās sandwich. Later when I was trying to use the card reader to check out the employee said I should leave a tip, and I definitely was not going to after the comment he made earlier. On a separate occasion I put in an order online at around 7:45 PM, again when the store closed at 9 PM. Only to arrive at the store the employee was out of all of his subway cloths in basketball shorts, with two of his friends helping him clean the facility. He had not even looked at our order yet and it had been 15 minutes. My husband said the chime had been going off for about 2 to 3 minutes while he stood there, the chime signifying we had put in an online order. And when the guy finally came out from around the corner he said oh shut up to the machine making the alarm alerting him of our order. So my husband had to wait for him to make the meal. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into the Subway in Lolo on Tuesday 6/19/19 around 6PM. I had my 6 year old and my year and a half old with me. Both of the ladies working behind the counter-especially the younger blond-were very friendly. She made conversation as she prepared our food. There were 3 others besides me and my 2 children in line. Just as she was getting started, the other employee stated that the cash register was down and not working, as well as the card reader. The man ahead of us became visibly irritated and made a few rude comments to the younger blond employee. She did not even hesitate before treating him with kindness. She verbally said she wanted him to be pleased with the service and told him and the rest of us that she would pay for our food. She did manage to get it fixed but she treated us all with kindness even in a stressful situation. I truly hope she will be recognized for her kindness amd dedication to this store. She paid for that mans meal and if she hadn't have gotten the cash register fixed she would have done it for the rest of us-to save the store from a bad review and make sure all of us wouldn't leave hungry. But tonight when we went in I probably should have just turned around and walked away.There was sauce and vegetables and filth all over the prep area.The first thing we saw when we pulled up was two young boys getting up out of the easy chairs and we saw a little too much of one of their rear ends in the window. When they went to pull the mayonnaise and other sauces out of the bin they were completely covered in every other sauce in the bin. We took our sandwiches but ended up going to the McDonald's down the street. The whole experience was nauseating. The fact that they were just sitting there when we pulled in with the restaurant in that condition was very disappointing. I have never seen this restaurant in that condition before and I hope I don't ever again or we will not come back. I would normally applaud the amount of young people working in this town but not this time the manager of corporate really needs to step in and do something.
