Tom's Burgers — Restaurant in Montebello

So I've been eating here for some years, always great service and great meals. As usual I placed a phone order for pick up. A pattymelt on sourdough,no tomatoe,, grilled onions, fries and a large coke. I got there and was charged $18 and change. Soda and fries were ok, my pattymelt was cut in half and I see tomatoe which I asked for no tomatoes, it had a bunch of lettuce(never had a pattymelt w lettuce before)the meat patty a single patty really thin, it had grilled onions along with totally raw onions together, and the bread was toasted white sandwich bread totally dry. Nothing like what I have been accustomed to by the previous owenership. To be charged that amount then be served what they gave me? I said I would support the new owners as long as the food didn't change, but this was like a huge leap backwards. I guess , no , I know I won't be going back there again . Total bummer having to lose such a good spot for fast food which was really great tasting and filling for fair prices. Not anymore. I wish the best to Gus family & crew in there new journey's. For the new owners if you don't know about the burger business or tried to cut corners and cost like it appears, maybe you just ought to stick to what you know. Maybe a Chinese fast food place might be better for business. There aren't any really close by there. Either way I wish you guys best...

Want to know a secret? A standard of their menu is rarely discussed and I have to pass up their tasty cheeseburgers for it: Green Chile burrito. So large and full of stewed meat, but it’s the sauce that is delicious and hearty. I skip the beans in it because I want to enjoy the green Chile flavor which seems to have a slight curry taste to it. I also don’t want cheese in it because it changes the taste and seems a little salty to me. Sometimes it can be spicy so a side of their French fries is perfect. I’ve never tried this but ask them if they would let you sample the green Chile sauce. We have loved these burritos for years and the recipe has stayed the same. Someone else wrote that they were disappointed with the carne Asada burrito. My family member had one today and there was a good amount of carne in it. That burrito tastes better with everything included in it. But my recommendation is the green burrito, with no beans...

This my first time at Tom's Burgers I was very curious about this place I always past throught many time but many times I throught the restaurant was close I took a chances but it was open. I step in the restaurant it have so many memorabilia like movies sports and other things. I look at the menu they have wide section then I decided to order the sourdough chicken club combo.

I waited then the cashier brought my meal to me really nice. I took a bite of the sourdough chicken club wow nice flavors in the club. The chicken have great flavors and cook perfect addition with bacon lettuce and tomato I really enjoy it very much and fries were very crispy and it have that crunch.
