This was a celebration of 11 people for a anniversary of a kidney transplant. The afternoon of the event I went to the restaurant explained importance and excitement to celebrate with friends. I pre ordered appetizers to be set on the table as guests arrived at 5:45 pm. When I asked where the appetizers were the food server said she knew nothing about them. I told her what I ordered and she put in the order. The appetizers arrived at 6:20. Also asked not to do bench seating as that would be mean guests stuck in middle and other guests would need to move. Asked for table seating. Host showed me where we would be set. When we arrived it was booth seating and one person would even be on a crack. Asked server and she said oh we canโt do that it would be too close to pole. At this point I just said fine leave. We were asked if we wanted bottled or tap water. We said tap would be fine. When the water arrived it was cloudy and tasted bad. We called the server over she picked up a glass from the table and proceeded to smell it at the table. Made a face and said do you want bottles still or bubbles? We received a $50 charge for water. Not even sure we had 5 bottles as we never saw the bottles the food server assistant poured them from station and placed on table. The service for our drinks was a bit slow. The food was OK. Nothing that got a rave review. The 3 that had cioppino said fish was good but broth was tasteless for dipping. The halibut got good reviews. The person who had the steak said good and prepared how he liked it. After dinner we were asked for desserts. I originally said no but my friend said to the server- sheโs celebrating her transplant anniversary and server said yes you deserve dessert. I ordered and thought it would be comped. Nope it was on the bill. The experience was a big disappointment. Mind you were are all locals to include 2 retired food servers, 1 retired chef and a server from PB. With a bill of over $1,500 I would have expected to leave raving about the place. We have other favorites in the area but I said letโs do something different. I was staying at Tickle Pink so we went with...

While I appreciate the overall ambiance, our experience with the front desk waiter, Emoire, was disgusting.
I had made a reservation for 7:30 PM one week earlier, specifically requesting a table close to the windows. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 PM. However, Emoire informed us that there were no special requests noted on our reservation and attempted to seat us at a different table. When I reminded her of our request for a window table, she checked the system again and then acknowledged the request but claimed that all window tables were occupied and we would have to wait due to a first-come, first-served policy.
Shortly after, we noticed an empty table in a desirable location and asked if we could be seated there. Emoire responded that this table was reserved for others who had not yet arrived. Thankfully, the manager intervened, seating us at an alternative table temporarily and promising that we could move to a window table if one became available.
At approximately 8:10 PM, after 1 hour wait, finally a suitable table became available. However, as the manager was about to lead us to it, Emoire suddenly directed another party of two to the four-person window table, despite several other two-person window tables being available for them, and Emoire stated she already let the customer seated so there are no available table again. Once again, the manager had to step in to resolve the situation by relocating these customers so that we could finally be seated at the window table.
This series of events not only caused considerable inconvenience and delay but I can also notice Emoire is intentionally disregarding our request and...
ย ย ย Read moreI wish I had a better review to write but unfortunately my experience here was ruined by at least 20 flies flying around my table. (That's not a joke either. There were at least 3 on our window, 2 flying on and off of my boyfriend's back and a swarm next to him! I'm getting itchy and irritated again just by thinking about it smh.) The view was so beautiful, but it was incredibly hard to enjoy because flies kept landing on us, our window and table. It was so bad, and so irritating, I took my food to go because I didn't have a moment of peace. We even switched tables and in doing so, a fly landed on my boyfriend's food, making it inedible. The only redeeming quality this place has are the employees. The hostess and our waiter were very nice and tried their best to help us and explained that it's been a problem due to their patio. For such a beautiful place, you would think they would be eager to fix this. Thank you to our waiter who discounted my boyfriend's food since he couldn't finish it, but it's a shame that our experience was ruined. I seriously cannot explain how frustrated I was. Having to eat a $30 sandwich in the car because the restaurant has flies flying around is unacceptable. I am extremely grateful I didn't go there for dinner because I would have demanded for the entire thing to be comped. I think we were there no more than 30 minutes. What a shame. We definitely won't be back, and I suggest finding another place with a pretty view unless you want to defend your food from flies the...
