The chicken sandwich at lunch was terrible. The chicken was over cooked underseasoned and dry. However the sauce was delicious. For breakfast I only ordered cheese grits which were delicious and a good quantity and quality for the price. Staff wasnt dressed professional. Its okay to be neat and clean when serving food even if you dont like your job, long nails are not sanitary in food service at all. Hair bonnet's are not professional attire especially on a front counter. However hair nets are required by the stateboard but apparently overlooked in every morden day food service establishment. Smile its okay. Customer service is just that customer service. Its okay to be friendly and kind and not treat a new face unkindly. Honesty, my family and I love this place. We drive down at least once every couple of months or so from Warner Robins. I've never heard of this place until my wife drove down one day and brought me some back. She went to school in Macon County. Took some to work and everyone asked what smelled so good and I actually gave a chili burger to a colleague who's been asking when are we going back every since, lol. Definitely not a luxurious spot but you get a good country home feel. The 2 stars is for poor customer service. They NEVER answer the phone and that is a big part of customer service. This hole in the wall place is in the little city of Montezuma, GA have some excellent food. I haven't made it to eat breakfast yet, but one day I'm going to get up early to do so. They have the best sliders, and chilli cheese dogs ever!! With ever bite you are savoring the taste. Let's not forget about the chicken/ chicken sandwich, slapped between two pieces of white bread with lettuce and a sliced tomato & mayo,perfection!
