American Deli — Restaurant in Montgomery

I really enjoyed my food both times..but The fake koolaid lemonade was the buzz-kill. The sweet tea wasn't all that sweet nor good. The hot wings are quite different from places like Wing Masters which is not too-too far away from this establishment, but in their own way. I enjoyed the flavor. The chicken philly was excellent with a few packets of the A1 sauce on the counter. (fyi. It comes with like a whole bellpepper chopped up, but its really good! I enjoy grilled and none grilled vegetables. "Everything on it" means - your meat choice with bellpepper, onions, mushrooms, and melted white-perma cheese all grilled in a philly bun.) The fries were great with the brown seasoning shaker and two packets of mayo. My burger was excellent with the mayo and A1 as well. I like this place and will definitely go back, I just wish they'll take their drink choices more seriously. Even with a fridge that has bottled drink choices. Now that would be great!! They also have nice small flat screens for tv watching.

This establishment gets a lot of business. So in between convenience and a nicely expanded menu. It's a better option than going to Mcdonald's so often. You get tired of mcd's after a while, you know. And the Subway across the way has this stengy little manager that will work a nerve, but the black woman made my chopped salad beautifully when I went there once. Provided a great heads up about the manager as well that I unfortunately met another afternoon when I had a craving. The Church's Chicken next to it isn't worth spit. The CC in prattville is 30x worse. Refused to acknowledge I and 3 other customers at the counter basically waving at them for 20min until we got fed up and left. They should just say closed at lunch until they feel like working, right!

Hi everyone out there reading, As we pulled in the parking lot to American deli there was like four vehicles out there and when I went inside there was only a couple people and they're waiting on their food and I walked right to the restaurant to call me to come up and place my order and I had a friend on the phone who was covid positive for 2 weeks with quarantine and she was feeling better her and her daughter and they had wanted something so I called him up when I got there and I hand the phone to the man he took it and he took the order very helpful I appreciate that he took mine and I spent like $30 for 4 meals it was it was delicious like always and good company and then why you waiting on your food to chat with other people and you can get you something to drink it don't take that long for what you're getting so yeah in and out real quick if you never been there I suggest you try to get there you'll like it you'll love it what the heck give...

I was extremely impressed with the quality of our lunch as well as the speediness in regard to the preparation of our food, which was freshly prepared before my very eyes! But mostly, I was impressed with the cashier/customer service attendant; not only was she thorough, efficient, and knowledgable regarding the menu and taking our order, she offered great service in ensuring order accuracy before we left with our lunch, as we were taking ours to go. She also spent any down time cleaning both behind the counter as well as the tables and beverage station. She is truly an allstar in a restaurant filled with greatness! I...
