I stopped at this location at 6:07pm tonight and decided to go to the drive thru. There are no signs that indicated it was closed and there was one car ahead of me that received food when I got there. I sat and waited until 6:25pm. There were two guys working, one of which looked DIRECTLY at me. If he didn't see me he needs his eyesight checked because I'm pale ass white and hard to miss especially at night. Being a former fast food employee I understand you get busy, however if there was going to be a long wait or the drive thru is not open a simple step to the side for a moment to let me know whatever the situation is and to suggest either coming inside or go somewhere else would have been a nice gesture. Hell even a hand motion or nod of the head towards me would have been acceptable. Especially when I have 30 minute window for my lunch break before I have to return to work for another 5 hours. They both proceeded to make sandwiches for customers inside instead of acknowledging my presence at the drive thru. Sure, No one forced me to wait that long of course, but I really don't have options in this area that allow me to return to work in a timely manner and still be able to eat. Instead I flew through the...
Read moreOf course, the restaurant is clean and the food was fresh and good, but I wanted to say a word about the staff. I arrived at noon, around the same time that a homeless man from the neighborhood entered the store. I was greeted but the man was asked if he wanted a sandwich, which he was offered immediately --- already prepared and in a sack. The man spent the next 3 minutes talking at an unusually loud volume, and although I can understand many different dialects spoken in my part of the state, I could not understand anything this man said. The staff never flinched. He was treated with respect and the necessary attention. He left after a few minutes, and the staff smiled as he left, and then I was greeted again and my order was filled. The staff quietly and kindly met the needs of this man as if he were a treasured regular customer. In a world where there is so much cruelty and fear, the staff at this Subway should be commended for not only filling a belly with a nutritious meal --- but giving a man a moment of attention and respect. In the end, it is all any of us...
Read moreI’m a grubhub driver, I had an order at this location on Day Street. I went to the drive thru and a young man came to the window to help I proceeded to tell him I’m here for the grubhub order and I guess it was his manager a young Indian guy started screaming saying she need to come inside to get her food!! I told him I only drove to the drive thru because I was told once before to come to the drive thru window he didn’t care he keep screaming come inside. I go inside and tell him he didn’t have to be so rude and doing all the yelling was unnecessary. He still was being very rude and didn’t care. I will never pick up a order from this location again after being disrespected like I was today. (Mostly all the restaurants lobby’s are closed do...
