My daughter and son in law were visiting from Utah. They travel all over the world, lots of Mexican foods in Utah. 12 of us had dinner. We split Margarita pitchers. The white cheese dipping sauce was a big hit. The food I prefer is the Yucatan which is a grilled seafood blend and they have others with seafood and chicken. The tilapia, shrimp and scallops are always great. THE Supreme burrito is huge. Fajitas always top notch. No complaints on my 12 person table. We as Italians will flat out tell you if we dislike food. If you are in doubt at a restaurant like this try the regional specialties or ask the waiter and tell them what you like. I tried the hot salsa and it was about a medium to very hot, but very tasty. The regular salsa is best with the white cheese sauce. Excellent service as always. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS it is important to all of us living in Kanawha and...
Read moreGood Tex-Mex food. Can’t quite put my finger on it but something’s missing in the ingredients. Kinda got spoiled living in South Texas and Mexico with the food but tasted just the same in Cali, NC and Ga. I don’t know. It’s different dishes. Don’t get me wrong they are good; just not really authentic or very tasty in my own opinion. You may not agree but that’s what makes it mine. Tortillas taste store bought and heated up and the salsa has no spice. Just kind of watered down tomato taste. Not much room to maneuver in a wheelchair. Narrow isles, tables too close together and no way to directly sit in place of a chair without blocking another table, chair or isle. Wheel chair accessible sidewalk and front door. Good drinks. I promise to get pictures if I happen to be taken by friends again. It’s kind of a place I wouldn’t voluntarily go spend money on if I did not...
Read moreJust start with the staff. They are very friendly and attentive. High quality customer service. Now the food is not even close to Tex Mex/American Mexican how ever you prefer. I myself ordered the beef nachos. Options are half or full, ordered the full size thinking that was going to get enough to fill me up as you would when you go to a sports bar or other food location. Instead had to ask the waiter if the order was correct cause it appeared to be the half order. There was some sort of melted cheese on it and very salty. No lettuce, tomatoe, onions, etc. My wife is Brazilian she looks over and says Taco Bell was ok but she prefers to go to a real Mexican restaurant next time. Needless to say only thing authentic is the Mexican...
