Frank's Pizza — Restaurant in Montgomery

I've said in other reviews that I was born and raised in NJ, so I am extremely picky when it comes to cheesesteaks, pizzerias, etc. We drove 40 minutes to try this place from a recommendation by a YouTuber. I was blown away. This is hands down one of the BEST calzones I've ever eaten. I felt like I was back in NJ sitting at a little hole in the wall by the beach. We did take it home and it was steaming hot when we left, so I popped it in the air fryer to warm up and it was still pretty warm when we ate it. I also ordered just a standard salad, but the veggies were fresh and the ranch dressing was really tasty. I will drive 40 minutes again...

I ordered a pizza to be delivered to some of my employees, as a token of appreciation for their work and whatnot. The woman I spoke to was very impersonal and you could barely understand what she was saying. I had been emailing the manager at the branch, and was told the pizza was delivered to the wrong location. I called the restaurant back 30 minutes after to get a status on the new pizza. When I mentioned about it sent to the wrong place, after I stated multiple times of the location it should have been sent to when I initially called, there was no apology for the inconvenience she caused. I just felt it was very poor...

Typically excellent food and service Worth the trip

Frank's Pizza was very busy. It seemed crowded and tight dining room area. I was self-conscious about baggage. I am sure the under-staffed employees were doing the best they could. I almost left feeling unacknowledged or under-acknowledged. Thankfully, before I was able to exit, I was able to order. The calzone was good and steaming hot. The cake instead on apple pie was delicious. 10/5/24 Day of Fall Fest...
