Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Montgomery

I placed a delivery order online for a large pizza and soda. Received an email confirmation shortly thereafter with a link to papatrack. The latest delivery time was listed as10:44 p.m.. I checked back on the link around that time and it showed delivered. No one had knocked on the door or anything. We looked around on the porch to double check if it was left outside, but it was not. I called the store immediately because they were closing soon. My husband walked to the two houses on either side of us just to check if it had been left at the wrong house, nothing. I let an employee know we had not received our delievery, he asked me to hold while he contacted the driver. When he returned to the phone he explained that he was unable to reach the driver, apologized, and asked if he could have a new pizza sent to us. I accepted the offer and thanked him (10:46p.m.) At 11:43 p.m. I phoned the store back because we still hadn't received our pizza.. No answer. At 11:47p.m. I receive a phone call from the employee who let's me know that he just noticed my pizza is still there and asks if it's okay to still have it delivered. At this point, I'm confused, hungry, and pretty upset. I said that that would be okay, but politely mentioned how I was confused how this could happen. He apologized and said that he was also confused. Because their store was closed he would have to contact a third party to deliver the order. I agreed. A few minutes later at 11:53 he called back to let me know that he had our our dispatched to the third party and he was just waiting for them to pick it up. At 12:40a.m. we still didn't have a pizza. We were exhausted and pretty sure by this point we weren't getting a pizza so we...

It’s Papa John’s, you semi know what to expect. Well not at this one. I’ve ordered 3 times. First time it’s took almost an hour for a pick up order of a pizza and wings. The second time, no issues. The third time…well I won’t be going back. I called to ensure that they could deliver to a specific location, and they assured me that they could. I therefore placed an order for 4 XL pizzas. They called me back 30 minutes later to say that they could not delivered and that I would have to pick it up. I agreed and they told me it would be ready at 11:30, already and hour and fifteen minutes after I placed the order. I arrived only to have to wait another 20 minutes for the order to finally be ready. In all an hour and thirty five minutes from order to pick up. That’s fine, I fully understand that things happen, people call off, you get busier than expected, so on. Well I get back and open the boxes and the pizzas are cut in a manner that delivers extremely large slices and extremely small slices. Absolutely zero consistency and regard for self pride in your job or delivering a quality product to a customer. I had been ok with the wait if they could have ensured a quality product. I order a pizza, we were not informed they use door dash at night, after waiting an hour, we got a message saying it had been delivered... my husband stood outside waiting for the guy to pull up, because we are in apartments and we didnt want them to have a hard time finding us. Needless to say the driver put he could not find our apartment and went back to the store. When I called papa John's they were completely unpleasant and unprofessional. They didnt offer to send it for free they didnt offer to make their mistake right at all. All he said was we can remake it and call another door dash to deliver.... we had already been waiting an hour.... it has been 6 days and our money still has not been refunded, I called the store, once again spoke to someone completely unprofessional and was told idk who told you that it took 3 days to refund, it takes 7 and that was that.. I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied with papa John's. We ordered pizza hut after that whole ordeal, they had no issue at all finding our apartment. I will never order from another papa...
