My personal beef with this establishment aside, I just can’t eat at a place with a B average rating. 92 and above, I’ve eaten at hole in the wall establishments with higher ratings. Ok so you’re thinking, “no one goes to a bowling alley for the food.” Sure you’re probably right. The same broken ticket sign has been on “now serving 31” since at least 2000. Just take it down, they’re clearly not using it. “Oh but that’s part of the timeless charm” Ok fine, timeless is right because it doesn’t look like this place has had a good scrub down since 1998. Some of the arcade games are new-ish and the upholstery on the bowling benches seems like it’s from at least the mid 2000’s. It just gives grimy and outdated. I wonder if they have the same owners or not? The positives, I had fun bowling and hanging with friends. It’s an ok place if you’re bowling on a budget and entertaining a large group. The staff on this particular day was actually nice and friendly.

This bowling alley is a prime example of a business that is only open to attain financial stability. Bama lanes does not care about the community that it serves to provide a family friendly enjoyable experience. Everything about this place is dated from the entrance to the lanes themselves. The furniture is old and falling apart. The floors are dirty and the decor is simply awful. Even the ceiling fans have dust on them. Clearly no one is cleaning this place as they should. Definitely my first and last time in the building called a bowling alley.

Good old bama lanes. I have gone here on occasion since I was a kid. It's been here forever and I'm glad to see it's still doing ok. Somewhat of a time capsule as many things are still exactly the same but that's not always a negative. Food and drinks are pricier than average but are good. Paid $4.40 for a diet Pepsi. Bowling is affordable but the rental shoes are somewhat beat. Security patting you down at the door is needed but worrisome. The Friday and Saturday night cosmic bowling from 9-12 might be the best value.

Ok! This place is old but I enjoy myself EVRY SINGLE TIME we bowl here. No, it's not a fancy feast for the eyes but it has everything I need to do what I enjoy doing amd that's bowling. Most of the staff is pretty friendly but occasionally there is a woman there that always seems to have a bad day but overall my family loves or here. The other bowling alleys in the area may be a little nicer but I like the fact that I can walk in over time and see the changes this place is making to stay in business and I am happy for that. I would recommend this place to any amd everyone. In fact when we have friends in town and they want to bowl we tell them about this place. Yes, we do share that it's a little old and dated but everyone wants the same thing.....to have a good time and every single time we go we have a BLAST!!! If you're looking for reasonable fun, take a trip to Bama Lanes (the one on Atlanta Hwy ONLY!!!!) and have yourself a good time, I know we will. ...

Terrible experience here to say the least. Th lanes are in decent shape not the best but still good enough to have a good bowling session on. HOWEVER, I’m not sure if it was only my lane or what but the pins always were messed up and get knocked over my ball wouldn’t ever come back up if it did it would take ages to do so. The only up side is I got 3 games of bowling in for 11 bucks that with a drink and food included the lady that took care of me was fairly nice and professional although it seemed as if no one cared that my lane was messing up... I mean perhaps try moving me to another lane lol. In conclusion if you ever want a really good place to go bowling at I highly recommend going to Pratville for that I go there just about every weekend for all you can bowl from 11 to 2 a.m. or 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday’s a much better bowling alley in much better condition Montgomery bama lanes used to be the best...
