Riverside Roadhouse — Restaurant in Montgomery

It took over an hr to receive our food. Once they brought the food, they forgot to put my daughters order in completely, and had to wait longer, in which the rest of the family was already done eating. Once they brought it out, it wasn’t even what she ordered! Also never received my side or a drink my husband ordered. Was told we would get money taken off of bill, just to find out they only took $1.00 off of an $87.00 bill! We stayed calm up until this point when a different waitress asked us how our food was. Pam Barto(who should be working in the office, but multiple times I went in for something she wasn’t there, instead she was lounging at the pool) decided to come in, and instead of being apologetic about their bad service (as one should do when working in customer service) wanted to become confrontational. She then excused herself and said she was making a phone call to the owners to see about calling the cops on us!!! WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND THINKS ITS A GOOD IDEA TO CALL COPS ON CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE UPSET!!! We were told we were being kicked out and couldn’t stay that night we already paid for. It was at this point my husband and I became more upset and demanded a refund, but we would step out to pack our belongings. Once we tried going back into the office we were greeted with some random drunken man who apparently worked there even though he was sitting and drinking at the bar all night, and he was very aggressive. Puffed out his chest to my husband, trying his best to intimidate us while telling us to “get the f out” I myself lost my cool once Pam decided it was smart to come out around the desk and shove her finger in my face. She was definitely called names by me at this point, which made the random drunk worker call me names, and he started to walk angrily and aggressively towards me. Luckily my husband was in the middle of us and he stopped the worker. I then walked out because I knew I’d really lose my cool, and I didn’t want to bring myself down to these trashy people’s level anymore. Before leaving we wanted our refund, so we tried going back to the office for the 2nd time, door was locked, so my husband went through the deck entry. The drunk worker gets up in my husbands face, threatens him, yelling, basically trying to fight my husband, and my husband continued telling the man he doesn’t want any issues/a fight, WHICH WE GOT THE ENTIRE THING ON VIDEO TO SHOW POLICE THAT WE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG AND HOW THE STAFF (MAINLY THE DRUNK WORKER) WANTED TO INFACT FIGHT US BECAUSE WE WERE UPSET ABOUT SUCH BAD SERVICE!!!). Mind you earlier that day, my daughter/her friends and I were locked inside of the pool area, and it took a total of three employees to try and freaking get us out, trash was at the pool when first arriving the previous day, and was still there when we came back the next day, chairs were cheap and almost all were broken, etc. Pam lady tried lying about us being locked at the pool and asked why didn’t I complain before. Well because Pam, I’m a very understanding person and try my best to be kind and give others the benefit of the doubt, but enough was enough when we were treated how we were at dinner. my daughter and her friends were not around when the confrontation was taking place. I sent them out on the deck with the oldest girl...

We arrived and waited to be seated as the sign says. We stood there for a few minutes, no one came to serve us. Then suddenly a waitress from the bar behind us asked us if we are dining in. We chose to sit indoor, and we had three people. Out of 5-6 empty tables, she asked us to sit in the corner that can only fit 2 people, and she asked us to pull another chair to sit 3 of us there. We refused and sat on a bigger table. We sat there and waited for 15 minutes, no one came to greet us or asked us for drinks. When she finally came to ask us for drinks (same lady), she asked us to order without giving us a menu. We had to wait for another 10-15 mins for the drinks to arrive….. then waited for another hour for the food to arrive.

Food is ok. I ordered half portion of the ribs, and the portion was big, but the meat was so dry. My kids ordered quesadillas and cheese pizza, and it was not worth the wait.

We love to support local business, but we will never come back here again.

First time at the roadhouse and I'll be back. I got the bacon cheeseburger fries ( I wanted a bacon cheeseburger and fries but that was a misunderstanding) it had lots of FRESH BEEF CHEESE AND FRIES! My wife ordered the Texas chili thinking it was your average ground beef in the chili.. ohhh no, it's not, it's so much more.... It has multiple different beans, tomatoes ( I don't eat tomatoes but these I do) and a generous portion of shredded beef.. again. FRESH INGREDIENTS ALL AROUND! I don't know what I enjoyed most but the marinara sauce that came with our cheese sticks..... I could have drank it and I DON'T EAT TOMATOES, the flavor they packed into that little dip cup wa AMAZING AND FRESH! The best part is...... I can afford to go back! The menu is not overloaded with 100 items and I like it. Simply dam good food! 10...
