Ugly Bar — Restaurant in Montrose

The tables were all not cleaned off and sticky. The bartenders watched offering no help as we cleaned the table ourselves and used a dirty towel we found on the neighboring dirty table to wipe ours down with. Gross.

-Live band was good!

Bartenders both had terrible customer service. We waited a significant time, no one came to the table, so we went to the bar area and waited some more. We ordered and the Bartender quickly snapped with a rude attitude that she didn't know what Remy Martin Cognac was. She then stated that they didn't have ANY cognac there... until I saw a bottle of Hennessy, a very common cognac on a shelf behind her.

It's an industry standard as a bartender to be knowledgeable of the products you have and are serving. Especially for serve safe purposes. This was alarming.

The pull tab waitress seemed completely exhausted. She didnt move from the small booth area but was struggling for air. I felt bad as she tried over and over to catch her breath. She was however the only friendly staff member so we tipped her well. 😌

My friends and I were kicked out for calling them out on their poor and risky business practices. Their tab system consists of sticking a post-it note to your credit card and then lining them up on the bar next to the register in plain sight and reach of everyone! Allowing anyone who walks in the door open access to your bank account! We snapped a picture because it was so unbelievable! When we brought our concerns to the attention of the bar tenders and they literally screamed at us that "taking a picture was illegal, there's nothing wrong with the way they do business, and we need to leave, and they are going to call the cops, and they have 27 video cameras watching the bar and no one has ever had anything stolen there." We tried to explain our position on the issue but obviously we dont speak trailer park so it was no use trying to reason with stupid. So with that being said, if you're looking to get your identity stolen definitely hit up this classy...
