Chunky Monkey Ice Cream and Sweets — Restaurant in Mooresville

Moral of the story: don’t go there if you have your heart set on a specific flavor of ice cream.

I think their ice cream is good when they have it. The first time in the last two weeks we went on a Wednesday and they said they had a “crazy weekend” and were out of 75% of their menu items/flavors. Okay. The second time we went still out of a lot of their choices, so we didn’t get anything. Today we went after seeing their post on Facebook about getting their truck in. (I had been craving some good ice cream for two weeks now) the lady tells us they are out of the choices we want. Then proceeds to let us pick a flavor and says she has it to come back and say never mind. They have it but there weren’t going to put it out to pick something else. GRANTED before we have had good ice cream but the last three times seems it’s been lacking. Maybe due to new employees but none of the situations were handled with great customer service. We understand it’s not the employees fault but we’ve watch employees roll their eyes when a new customer walks in. Maybe either too busy or dreading having to tell them they are out of everything.

Also I wouldn’t ask for a sample again with the attitude I got...

First off the ice cream is just ok nothing you cant get in the ice cream isle at grocery store. The reason I gave only two stars however is the professionalism or I should say lack of professionalism. There were two younger kids working the front the young lady was very nice and had great customer service. The young man however stood behind the counter taking sample spoons of ice cream the entire time we were there well that is when he wasnt rough housing with a small child that was there which I'm guessing was a child of one of the employees because she kept running behind the counter. Now all this is happening while on adult sites in the back on her phone. I as a customer could tell there were plenty of things all three of the employees could have been doing the dining area needs wiped soen desperately and the water...

The longer I sat here and thought about it, the more I wanted to write a review. So now I'm here. I went a few days ago about an hour or two before the drive thru should close with my fiance. We were the only people in the drive thru, so there should've been no rush, no nothing. We told the man step for step what we wanted. Neither myself nor my fiance got what we asked for. I wanted a dipped cone with chocolate and rocky road, with some chocolate drizzle. And my fiance wanted the cookies and cream and a dipped cone with Nutella.
