Our first visit to this restaurant was an absolute delight. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We had such a great time that we decided to return for a second time.
However, our second experience was quite disappointing. We had finished our meal and paid our server, but we didn’t see her for a while. We asked another server if she could bring us the menu, but she said she would go find our server after 30 minutes.
The server didn’t offer to bring the menu. Instead, she went to clean the table beside us and spent another 30 minutes talking to her friends from that table .
We asked another server, who was a younger server, for help. She was incredibly kind and brought us the menu. However, the lady we had asked first came back and said she would take our order, acting like she didn’t care.
After we finished our meal, she brought the bill right away. We had to raise our hands four times before she finally stopped talking to her friends from the other table.
I had to stand up and ask for the manager, who was very kind.
In conclusion, this restaurant needs to hire better servers. They should be friendly, attentive, and professional. The server we had on our second visit was rude, unkind, and had no class. She looked like she worked at a farm with her messy hair!
She’s not a good server for this restaurant!
To the manager who helped us, thank...
Read more4 of us had great experience at Nines. They take virus seriously. Reservations required to control crowd. No walk-ins allowed. Must wear a mask in or moving about. Servers are masked. Social distancing is maintained, and disposable menus are used. Tables and booths throughly wiped down.
Food and service are just outstanding. Salmon on Caesar salad to die for. Quality of staff/service outstanding.
Thanks for a great job in food, service, and making a safe environment for all.
Another great y experience for 8 of us. Great food, service, and selections. Staff is very attentive, from hostess to bar to table servers. GM came around to check on our experience. I had cool French onion soap, and they exchange for a new, very hot, and tasty one. A must stop in place.

Monthly men's group had a very enjoyable experience. Three of us started in the bar with a round of drinks. They have a reasonably good selection of wine, scotch, and bourbon. Added a nice selection of craft beers. Moved to our table where our server took excellent care of us, shared the specials, answered our questions, and got us on our desire for a slow, relaxing night. Our very enjoyable selections included meat loaf, shrimp 🍤 and grits, and I had French onion soup with a side of fried oysters. Came at 6 left at 9 and On the Nines Bistro provided a very good...
Read moreHorrible experience top to bottom and they tried to pull a few fast ones to boot. Had a reservation first off.....get there and they are WAY behind on reservation times. So we stand around and wait for 40 more minutes to sit. I call that greediness taking customers who walk in without saving table's for reserves. Finally ordered the pork chop. It arrives rare.....now I like pink but this was too scary to eat. It also arrives without the sweet potato side it's supposed to get. Server sets it down says nothing and leaves. When he finally reappears 10 minutes later and we ask about the side he says they are out....looks at us blankly like that's ok then finally reluctantly asks what else we would like. Order mashed potatoes and they don't appear for another 10 minutes. He said the kitchen was backed up so we never did get to send back the pork chop once we realized how raw it was. Then we stupidly order a grand Marnier creme brulee. A chocolate and strawberry one arrives and again he leaves with not a word and disappears. Must have been out of it again and instead of saying something think it's ok to just substitute..... the customer doesn't matter. We left hungry, irritated and vowed never to go back. Horrible management and...
