Mooresville needs a second location. Ordering food on a Friday/Saturday night automatically means an hour and a half wait at least. Even Pickup takes an hour for them to prep the order. They physically cannot make the pizzas fast enough. To help with delivery for that, they are delivering orders through Doordash, even regular Papa Johnās app orders. Unfortunately, there must not be repercussions for Doordash missed orders/messed up orders. They didnāt deliver our pizzas tonight, and didnāt send a photo that would indicate they had only accidentally delivered to the wrong house. They sent another driver after with a remake to get us our pizza after we called. When we ordered pickup a new weeks ago, there was a sign on the store door for Doordash delivery drivers reminding them to double check addresses and to ring the doorbell and to send a photo etc. Not a great sign about the quality of the Doordash drivers. After our 2 hour initial delivery estimate, the first order was falsely makes delivered about 1:45 later. We called about 15 minutes or less later. The first call was put on hold then disconnected. A different person picked up the next time and the order was remade and expedited to us. Still took at least 45 minutes to get to us. tl:dr This location is drowning in orders and using Doordash to complete them seems to only be hurting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food itself when prepared properly is good. However, none of the employees utilize proper measurements which cause expensive pizzas that seem stingy with the toppings. The oven tenders will often when busy pull pizzas out that are only halfway out of the oven. This explains the pizzas which are half done when they arrive to your door. I watched as in store staff would handle credit cards and cash money and return to the makeline without washing their hands. Drivers would come in off the road and help top pizzas without washing their hands. This is why the pizzas end up topped wrong, overloaded with toppings and cannot cook well, bare of toppings.
The atmosphere inside this location is terrible. Managers and staff can be heard slamming things loudly, cursing with horribly offensive slang (i.e. the "f" word, using God's name in a not so nice way). Teenagers who have no "choice" but to endure such treatment are ridiculed to their faces and called all but incompetent. Its horrible.
I simply will not return to this establishment within this franchise. This company has been allowed to be ran like this with bully type tactics for (from personal experience) over ten years. Its sad to know the pizza place that treats employees so poorly is probably the one making the most money.My money will...
