TERI TIME — Restaurant in Moorpark

My sister and I tried this place for the first time and we took it to-go. The restaurant itself was cozy and clean, and the woman who took our order was incredibly kind.

My sister had the orange chicken plate (orange chicken, white rice, and chow mein topped with bean sprouts) and I had the beef teriyaki plate (beef teriyaki—sauce came on the side, I opted for the fried rice, and chow mein with the bean sprouts). The chow mein tasted well and was not greasy like the chow mein you find at Panda Express. I’m not a fan of rice, but both the white rice and fried rice were well seasoned and I can say I would definitely order the fried rice again. The orange chicken was so good, that I was sad the orange chicken didn’t have extra sauce to it. The beef teriyaki, by itself, was also well-seasoned; it had a smoky flavor, but it was not overpowering. I definitely could have ate it without the teriyaki sauce.

I would definitely like to come back and try some of their other items. The meal did not feel / taste greasy like other Asian restaurants and fast food places. It was all really well done.

Also, heads up, bring cash if possible. I love how they’re upfront about the additional charge they have to do when paying with card, and they have a little note that mentions how you, as the customer, can save money by paying with cash. I would...
