Heard about this place last fall and made a note to stop by next time I'm in the area. Now it's February and I made it. Meet Shawn the brewer, nice guy and he talked about how he worked on getting their flagship beers to where they wanted them before the grand opening, which is this weekend February 18th.

The beers are very good, the EPA is my favorite. The IPA was a little light on flavor for me. And the stout would be great for breakfast. That's my take, I'm not a blonde...

We had family visiting our cabin and the weather was a little drippy so we decided to check out Moose Lake Brewing Co. So glad we did!

They have a nice bar area, outdoor seating overlooking Moosehead Lake and a little back room we'll call the Aquarium Room. Everyone in our group had something different and liked them all. No food trucks the day we were there but still definitely worth a visit. And I hear they do a meat raffle on Fridays so we may be back for that...

This place is adorable inside with a cabin atmosphere--old saws on the wall and vintage photos of Moose Lake. They had four beers available-- wild rice IPA, Stout, EPA and a Blonde. They were all very tasty with good body and flavor. Parking is a little confusing but there's an overflow lot across the street. They have a great view of the lake and indoor area to play bags during the winter. Only wish they sold Growlers but they do have cans available...

Unique north woods brewery that outdoes the north woods feel better than breweries that are further north. This is more of a locals bar than a tourist brewery. 3 minutes off the interstate, located on the lake makes this an easy stop if you’re traveling through the area. I had the mango blonde and enjoyed it just fine, I will try the flight next time as I will stop here again.

Really great brewery in a scenic small town! Very nice patio over looking the lake. The inside is really cool! Stickers from breweries all over the place. Nice selection of merchandise. Great beer! Try a flight to taste different varieties, you won’t be disappointed! I really enjoyed the Hazy IPA and their Irish Ale. I would definitely go back again and again to this brewery!
