Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Morehead City

After ordering, I had walked outside real quick & my teen son stayed inside to wait on our order. Some guy (employee) brings up our order & literally asks my son "did yall pay for this" after seeing us pay for it! Like dude the order would not have even went through unless we paid for it! On top of that, we didn't even get all of our order. But because we were traveling & riding with family, by the time we realized that part of the order was missing, we were too far down the road to turn around. Plus I knew that if I went back up there that I would really be saying something to them because I was already disgusted with the tone of voice that was given to my son, which is why I left out of there so quickly without completely checking the order. But it's all good because you can best believe that we will not ever be stopping at this location again! We had stopped at that location because it advertised a game room but of course the game room was closed. I do understand it being closed because of covid but what I don't understand is why they are still advertising it if it is not open. I ordered 1 burger and 1 small order of fries. The burger came 1st. We waited 15 actual minutes with no fries before complaining to one of the employees. She sternly and quite rudely advised that they were cooking at would be a few more minutes. We advised her that we had watched several orders be filled after ours . She advised that they pair orders that if they have other orders that have fries needed to complete they would fill those simple orders first. I told her that we had watched people place orders 7 to 10 people aftee us they were now eating their food inside the restaurant as well at least 3 other orders had been filled and they were to go orders. I then advised her that made no sense as all that was needed to complete our order was one small order of fries. She repeated that we would and this were her exact words have to just 'wait our turn" . Please note i heard at least 4 other people order fries within their order as well watched as 2 other inside guest eat fries that were ordered as we waited.This was our 1st time in a long time visiting a DQ and will be a very long time before I...

Do not order cakes from here, especially if you are counting on one for a special event. I ordered one for my son's bday and they never made it. I sent some one to pick it up and it wasn't there. The lady offered to make another one but come to find out they didn't even have the kind that I originally ordered. I ended up speaking to the store manager. He offered two round instead of the sheet but still didn't have the one flavor(my son's favorite) I originally needed but we compromised on the flavors. Because of this he offered to send a gift card for the price. When it was time to serve, the cakes weren't even what we compromised to(I hate peanut butter ice cream), and I never received my gift card. From the store manager to the guy taking my order, they all dropped the ball. Then dropped the ball on fixing it. My entire family has always ordered cakes here for parties but we wont ever again.
