My son said the Old No 1 bar is known for their pizza. So we tried the pizza. It’s good. I liked it. I also had the clubhouse sandwich with homemade chips. It was outstanding. I’d certainly get it again. It’s surprising how so many places can mess up a clubhouse sandwich. But the Old No. 1 Bar and Grill get it 100% right. Fast service, plenty of seating. Lots of TV’s for watching sports with your pizza. I’d gladly go again. Thanks for the great meal.

Great place to hangout with friends for various occasions (e.g. sporting event on big screen t.v., wedding receptions, after work gathering, business meetings, etc...) Love their Chicken Alfredo pizza, the best in town now after one restaurant closed awhile ago! Don't have to be "drinker" to hangout too! They host a lot of community events and causes (blood mobile). God bless them! :)

The Old Number One is probably getting all these stars from me for the sake of nostalgia, but there's something to be said about going back to your old college bar and seeing it hasn't changed a bit. (I remember the service being better, though.) Same cheap drinks, same great bar food. Ahh, memories.

Ok so long post. Waitress was great super nice and did her best! I came in with my family of 3 adults and 4 kids ages 5 and under. We are not picky eaters and like something fast. Sadly this place food was over cooked, no seasonings, and dry. I ordered the sirloin steak with fries for 22$. My steak had no flavor at all. I took one bite and was done, note I did try adding salt and pepper and that didn't even help steak. They had made the grill marks but burnt the marks and steak was still cold in the middle, it was also very tough/chewy. Now fries were good and toast was good. Sadly I paid $22 dollars for a handful of fries and a slice of toast.

Two other adults had some big burgers and fries. Burger patties also not seasoned to the point they caked the burgers in ketchup. The patties were dry and over cooked with some crunchy burnt spots (not good).

Kiddos got corn dogs and fries said it was good. Other kiddo got chicken nugget and ate almost everything. Sadly my 3rd kiddo would taken 2 bites of his burger. He told me it was too dry and didn't taste yummy. He wouldn't eat anymore.

We also did get a couple appetizers of cheese balls and blooming onion and have no complaints there whatsoever. Blooming onion was nice and crispy with amazing sause and the cheese balls were delightful and not greasy at all.

Drinks were delishes we had tap beer with three different 3 sizes and Shirley temple, mountain dew tasted odd and water.

So I'm giving 2 stars for the waitresse being super nice and kind. All in all it's not worth the money for food but drinks were amazing. I guess be great place for someone that don't like seasonings on anything. Plz Norte this place is more expensive on things. Not a...

Great little spot to watch. Rustic type look. Great place to eat especially when it's nice outside, there's a number of outdoor places. There's an outdoor area on the 2nd floor that looks out onto main street, and a larger area on the 1st floor that overlooks the parking lot. Inside there's a good size bar, a handful of booths large enough for 6 people, and numerous tables and chairs. Area is big enough for a large party. On TV they had sports on. One of the TVs was broken while I was there. As for the food. It was good. I ordered the pretzel bites with cheese. Very hot and very good..once you get over the look of them. I also ordered a build your own Canadian bacon and pineapple with half having jalapeños. The pizza there large. 16" thick crust. Pizza was good, The pineapplesleft a lot to be desired. On some slices there was only 2 or 3, others had more. Wish they had added more. The bacon was good. The jalapeños were great, not slimy even very crunchy had a little spice. The service was great. It wasn't very busy at 8pm. The one downfall I saw was the music. They alternated between hip-hop and country. Prices were on point. They are opened late which was great to see as other pizza places were basically closed on a Friday night. I'll definitely be back again to get a more pictures and better look of the rest of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place for...

Didn't try the elevator but a short walk up the steps led to an old school experience.

Dark wood paneling but well lit. Quiet for a Wednesday lunch but we didn't feel unwelcome.

I didn't see any specials but those may have been saved for dinner.

The salad bar reminded me of the Blue Collar Cafe in Eyota.. macaroni salad, potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, pickled herring and all. So rare to see a salad bar anymore.

Soup was excellent (corned beef stew).

My wife had the California burger and had no complaints, though I should have tempted her with the pickle slices (we all got the salad bar as extra- definitely worth the price).

I had the 'Angus Parmesan'.. a chicken-fried steak over pasta in a red sauce. Actual chicken-fried steak, not battered hamburger, and it's something I would order again.

The girls ordered a pulled pork sandwich (Tasty and not drowned in barbecue sauce) and the Old #1 Burger (I wasn't fast enough to steal a sample but it must have been good based on how quickly it evaporated).

Service was 110%, warm and welcoming to strangers without ignoring the regulars who came in after us.

And they mix a proper Arnold...
