How hard is it to make food that isn't sloppily thrown together? You must be thinking you're making abstract art and not a meal someone is going to eat. The pizza is so oily that it almost comes through the soaked bottom of the box. The fries are never good anymore, first they are full of black bruises to a point you have to toss half out right away, plus they undercook them to a point I have had cold white fries in a batch and if you ask for them to cook the fries a little longer they will overcook them to a point you cannot bite into them.
If you want good chubbys food try one of the other 2 locations, I especially recommend the South Lebanon location, in 2 years eating food there I never had a problem, in the 2 years I have been getting food from the morrow location I never get a full order that is even decent.
Lastly, the service is sub par, lots of attitude and confusion. And if you have a complaint the staff gets real defensive and tries to refuse refunds. I will no longer even give this store any business, if I want their food I will go to the South Lebanon location so I know I can eat what I pay for. If the owner is unaware of the actions at this location they should have a few secret shoppers frequent the morrow store and ask for a few requests like well done food or light/extra toppings to see what your customers have to deal with when attempting to spend our money at their restaurant. The area is getting bigger and more housing is going in everyday in morrow, it won't be long now before another pizza place sets up shop right here in town and when it finally happens then maybe the owner will notice the drop in sales and ask what is happening, that is what is needed for most places to fix the terrible service they give the...
Read moreUPDATE: Food has improved. The work around is to put notes for delivery to ensure condiments and hot food are stored separately for transport. The delivery is then seamless and food is intact. They still staple the bags shut- that is unfortunate.
THE GOOD: The delivery drivers are ALWAYS friendly, respectful and hard workers. I have always been met with a smile at my front door within a minute of them pulling in my driveway. THE IFFY: Staff that answers the phone seem efficient, but not always necessarily friendly. Quality of food is hit or miss. When they get it right, the food is AWESOME. THE BAD: Recently, it’s been more frequent that it’s NOT right and NOT awesome. Please stop putting cold condiments inside the container with hot food. The plastic lid on the cup melts and then it dumps/spills on the food making it soggy. Also, ranch is coleslaw are supposed to be cold or atleast room temp by time it gets to me. Instead it’s hot and spoiled. I LOVE the coleslaw and the ranch when it is not overheated by being placed with all the hot stuff. I LOVE when I actually get the coleslaw that comes with the item I ordered but most the time, I never receive it. Last, but not least stapling the bags shut is not best practice. 25% of the time my hand gets scratched, cut, punctured by a staple just to open the bag. I always have to guard the bag to make sure that my daughter doesn’t try to open so she doesn’t get hurt. I completely understand that no one is going to die by accidentally getting scratched, cut, or punctured by a staple but opening food should be a good experience or at least not a safety issue.
I am writing this in hopes of eventually seeing improvement in Chubby’s food quality...
Read moreEdit: we no longer live in town, but have to check on elderly family in town weekly. We’ve come back to chubby’s a couple times since moving. They’re slowly improving and we haven’t had any problems since. Very welcoming environment now, and food’s made correctly and still hot and fresh by the time we get it.
Chance after chance after chance after chance we give them, something always goes wrong. We give details on how we want the food made or what we don’t want on/in the food. Yet, somehow it’s always wrong. We live not even five minutes down the road and yet we’d rather order from South Leb and drive down there instead of having to waste gas on multiple trips down here. I’d be spending the same on gas as just driving down there. This time, it took 30+ minutes after watching other people walk in, walk to the register, order, pay, get their orders, and leave. I wouldn’t mind if it was a big complicated order, but three things? Come on. When I have to drive back and get an attitude from the managers about my food being made wrong and then made wrong again after they “fixed” it. I’ve worked busy food industry jobs, bars, restaurants, fast food even, and yet I’ve never treated a customer like they do when they have to remake food. Get it right the first time and you won’t have...
