June 20, 2020 Came in (called ahead and were instructed that patio is first come first serve, no problem). When we came in they told us the patio was full but there were 2 tables available that we could see and 6 more opened on the back patio. Hostess created a rude atmosphere. This is the first place we’ve gone post stay at home order that made us uncomfortable. They kept seating two people at a six top table that could’ve accommodated our family of seven that came in together. They separated our family of 7 to2 tables and refused to let us bring them together because of the order. Our family was together. We were not strangers. We stayed at home together. The original waiter for our tables refused to wait the two tables as one bill even though we agreed just to put it on one bill instead of separated. ✨They gave us a wonderful waitress who was very accommodating. 😷This is the first establishment where table runners didn’t have facemasks on and would come straight into our personal space to lay the food down not even turning their faces. 🥵The two tables they put us at we’re in the middle of the back patio area with full sunshine and no umbrellas. The quality of the food did not match the price in which we paid. Our waitress was so friendly we were happy to tip her well over the 20%. Also wanted to mention the snarky sign about “she let us open “as we entered… Michigan has a 50% drop in positive cases and antlers chose a snarky sign. We are in this all together. It was a pretty low brow sign. A bit disgusted. We hope to give you a try again in the future maybe you’ll have the kinks worked out and maybe you could take some pointers from establishments around you.
May 2020-making do with the stay at home order so we’ve been doing take away from local restaurants. Today was our take away from antlers. It was overpriced for the food quality we got. It was good to go with beer. Not upscale at all.
A bit slow but super friendly and the best Michigan Mule on a super nice day. Super busy today (11/11/19) food was delish.! Monday Night Football and nachos with our favorite Mules ! 5 stars today 🌟 Jan 2020 my Michigan brown came out on white bread and not brioche bread. Super disappointed. Overall a nice...
Read moreChicken pot pie was really bad potatoes were raw. It was less tasty than Progresso chicken pot pie soup and crust was a piece of puff pastry on top . I recommend buying Progresso pot pie soup, and puff pastry and making your own. When boxed to take home they put the soup on top of paper which disintegrated into the soup. I tossed it. Reported to management no compensation offered. Side salad delivered to wrong person, they began picking off the croutons and the server realized her mistake and took it from her and placed it in front of me Bought the cobbler to split and it was served in a tight bowl. For 8.29 you think they'd split it in the kitchen for us. At least give us two bowls. When I asked to box my own foods I was refused, but later after getting a separate box for my salad the server tossed the box on the table in front of me shocking the entire table. I was extremely nice in my request for a replacement salad and reported only the raw potatoes to the manager in private. I don't know where the attitude came from. The server seemed intent on playing with my food, opening up the pot pie with my fork to expose the insides. Servers handling money, receipts and other people's dirty plates have no business handling food. Food handling belongs in the kitchen under serve safe sanitation supervision. I was appalled and I expected my 49.00 bill to be refunded but no offer at all was made. I was as nice and courteous as I could possibly be. I ordered 2 pot pies, And a cobbler. Just appalling....... Read moreMy fiancé made reservations for 7pm on Valentine's Day. We are relatively frequent patrons at this establishment and were both excited to try the special menu for the day. The experience was entirely disappointing. After we placed our drink order, we learned that they were out of the bottles of wine on special. So, we compromised and ordered a glass of a regular menu wine--no big deal. We then placed our appetizer and entrée orders only to discovered that, not one, but ALL of the specials menu items were sold out. Our server was unaware of these 86'd items prior to the order. We then proceeded to order an appetizer from the regular menu and that, too was sold out. Our server mentioned that the kitchen was trying to prep more of the special menu items, so we decided to wait and find out if they would be ready in a reasonable time. She informed us that they were still trying to thaw the shrimp and that it wouldn't be ready for a couple of hours. It was 8pm by this time. We managed to find an entrée item (scallops) were still being served, but received the dish with lukewarm and pasty risotto. Fortunately, the scallops were warm and prepared well. I understand that this was a busier-than-usual Tuesday, but everyone seated at a table had a reservation. The volume of food orders should not have been a surprise. It was an unfortunate experience all around. It is a real shame to spend $150 on a meal that was, by no means, worth the price. We will not be back, nor will we encourage any...
