Food is absolutely the best, service is the best, and the staff are always pleasant and friendly! 😊 I live in Bucks County, PA, and could never find truly good Chinese food there. This is the only place I eat Chinese food when I come to the Poconos. I’m obsessed with their House Special Pad Thai. I get it almost every single time! It’s way better than what I’ve tried at expensive Thai restaurants, where the noodles were just swimming in sugar syrup. Here, the sweetness is perfectly balanced, and it’s loaded with delicious proteins: chicken, shrimp, and pork. I also love their fried cheese wontons with the creamy crab-cheese filling inside. My husband and I have been looking for a new place for Chinese Food. Decided to stop and pick up dinner at China Star. First off the staff was friendly and warm. The food was amazing. Wonton soup broth so good! Hot and sour soup perfection and beautiful! Chicken wings crispy yet juicy! Fried wonton fresh and delicious! Pork with mushrooms delish and they use fresh mushrooms not full of grease! Broccoli and garlic sauce wow! Even the white rice was good on its own. We order from China Star frequently and food is really good, orders made on time and correct. the family owned business demonstrates consistently that they genuinely care about the satisfaction and service their customers receive. That alone will keep us returning to the restaurant for take out. Most restaurants once you leave your out of sight out of mind that is not the case with China Star.
