El Campesino Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Moss Point

Great place, being of Mexican decent and growing up with the good stuff at my table, I had a low expectation of this restaurant. As soon as I walked in, all that went away. I was warmly welcomed, and I informed them I wanted to watch the LSU vs. Bama game, they gave me two remotes so that I could change the channels. Through our visit, the attention was constant with lots of smiles, ensuring we had all we needed. I was able to order things not on the menu and cater to my children (and me, lol) who are picky eaters. The food was delicious and served in proper time. The portions were great and rightly priced. Not happy with this place at all! I ordered a chile releno..which is a big chile stuffed with cheese but what they served me was a plate of cheese sauce with 2 tiny lil sliced chilies.i told the waiter this was wrong and they didnt care..they never offered to discount the price either.if id know it was gonna be like thst id just ate the chips and cheese dip.it would of been a lot cheaper..also when we went to pay the people that paid in cash he no sale and put the cash to the side but i payed with my card and and normal transaction took place..so the workers are scamming the cash sales..humm!! The kidd had steak quesadillas with beans and rice. It was very good she ate almost all of her food as she too is becoming a food critic. I had the Fajita Alambre it has steak.chicken.bacon.onions.mushrooms this came with flour tortillas and beans n rice. The food was served fast and hot.
