The Barnyard Deli and More — Restaurant in Moundsville

Not the best. Tasted ok. Atmosphere is nice. Very clean and pleasant. But just not a place I plan to go back to. They place more attention on the items they have for sale than the food they make. The menu is mostly just sandwiches. They do not offer fries or any kind of appetizer type foods. Which is an odd choice for a sandwich place. They have a special and soup and salad. It looks more like a shop than a restaurant when you walk in because they have shelves of stuff for sale right in the middle of the room. We came here for the first time today for an outing and the food was fantastic. The barnyard Gobler was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The Sweet Tea was excellent along with the Superman Ice cream and potato chips. The staff was very friendly and did a excellent job. I also love the interior which had a nice look and feel to it. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in Moundsville or live around here.😀😀 We came from Moundsville Healthcare Center with activities and residents and had a great time. Bought two sandwiches today if I was in the area still I would have definitely returned them! These are the worst sandwiches we have ever had! The bread is so dry and old it came apart in my hands. I don't know how you stay in business with such terrible sandwiches. One slice of tomato is about an inch thick on one side and about 3 cm on the other. The onion are so powerful You don't use those kind of onions for sandwiches and the lettuce was very wilty. There was absolutely no flavor to them We actually threw them out the window....
