I was thrilled to see a local place offer al pastor (among other things, but that's my favorite). We had a great meal and will definitely be back soon and often. The food and service were great, not sure if the carnitas street tacos or the al pastor quesadilla was better but I'm definitely willing to order either again Update- my wife and I have now been back several times and they continue to impress. Everything has been great, but in my opinion the best dishes have been the carnitas and the quesabirria

This was my first time going to this new Mexican restaurant, I was very pleased with the food and service. English is loosely spoken by the staff, but they get the message. The menu is large and looks all tasty. I will return again to try other authentic dishes. I also saw that they had a vegetarian section on the menu! I highly recommend that you try your favorite dishes here to make comparisons. As always, if you enjoyed my review, please don't forget to hit the LIKE button.

What a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant Mt. Caramel has! Everything here was delicious, even the chips and salsa! (If you like it hot you can ask for a spicy bottle of homemade salsa to add to your regular salsa!) I had a chimichanga and a lengua street taco and they were both amazing - somehow even the rice and beans that came with the meal were expertly seasoned and full of flavor (a tremendous surprise). I will definitely be back to try more items!

This wonderful Mexican restaurant, owned and operated by my own family, deserves every bit of its five-star rating. Walking into El Bernal feels like stepping into a warm, inviting hug from your loved ones. The menu is made as if you’re on a journey through the vibrant flavors of Mexico, prepared with the care and tradition that only a family can provide. My dad and uncle treat each customer like part of the family. From the amazing tacos to the sizzling fajitas, every dish is a testament to our family's passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. El Bernal is the perfect place to experience a true taste of Mexico, where you'll always be treated like family. I wholeheartedly recommend it!"...

We will not go back. We went here for lunch. 3 co-workers, so we had a hour for lunch. They got one of the three orders correct, One of us ordered polo Hawaiian and got fajitas. Another one ordered a chicken taco salad and got not really sure what she got, but it was not no kind of salad. Also, they never did come back to check to see how our food was or if we needed a refill on our drinks, which we did. They did say they were sorry and did offer to remake it but by that time it was 25 minutes to one and not enough time there was no offer of a discount for two of the three orders...
