Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Mount Carmel

Frustration doesn’t even describe the experience I had tonight. I pulled into the drive through at 7:58pm in Mount Carmel IL. I was un aware the store was to close at 8pm. I was greeted by a young lady who asked me for my order. I asked what an infusion was and she replied “it’s our scooters brand” energy drink. I asked if it was like a lemonade and she said “I don’t know, it’s fruity flavored” then I asked if you had Frappuccinos, and she said “yes blended” I said great, can I have a turtle blended” and her response was “Sorry but we are now closed” I seriously thought it was a joke. I responded that, I was in the middle of my order. She then said “well by the time you went to tell us what you wanted we were closed”

Un believable! Then when I asked what their names were and if I could get a manager name they said that that was against policy and unable to do that. The shut the lights off an I left…. I was in my front door 5 blocks away at 8:03.

I rarely have negative experiences with businesses in general, but this one takes the cake! You may be able to get away with that in larger communities, but not in the small...

I am a disabled USMC Veteran and went here to get a peanut butter blaster with a scoop of protein powder that was suppose to be SUGAR FREE WITH OAT MILK! After 145 units of Insulin, and 3 days of recovery, I was finally feeling a bit better. I contacted corporate and played email tag for a week with corporate, about how the store here in Mt. Carmel would reach out to me. They NEVER did! So, if you have dietary restrictions, especially SUGAR, DO NOT get beverages from this establishment because they will make them improperly, nearly kill you, and make it seem like it was not their problem! I will go to Casey's for my coffee so that I KNOW for a fact that it is SUGAR FREE as I ALWAYS have to request! Be safe out there,...

Drove thru for the first time yesterday and the blended iced coffee was not blended and couldn’t be sipped through a straw, called to inform and the manager politely offered to remake, replace, or refund. I came in today asking for a different drink made a specific way, it was not made correctly so I called to inform yet again. I was told that I can “get my coffee somewhere else.”☺️ so that was lovely. I’m glad I live in another state so I never have to return. It’s so good to know that small town charm...
