This place has the very best smoked Brisket, BBQ ribs, pulled pork, jalapeño & pineapple with cheese sausage. The chicken breast is always moist and juicy, and now there is a "new" breakfast menu and more things added to the lunch menu like hamburgers now that I'm eager to try next. I will update my review if necessary. The potato salad, cheesy potatoes, and coleslaw are always made fresh and delicious. By far, this tiny hidden gem of a BBQ restaurant ranks up there with one of the top five best BBQ places I have been to and eaten in Texas, including cities like Driftwood Tx., Austin area, Eagle lake, SantaFe Tx., Henderson and Alvin Tx. and now adding Mt. Enterprise to my list. My favorite T-shirt purchased at one famous location has a funny quote written on it that reads, "Life is too short to be eating bad BBQ." I stopped here on a whim just passing thru to nacogdoches. Was really wanting a brisket sandwich but the guy told me they sold out......just my luck... so as I go to turn and leave he says they have really good chicken..... I asked "on a bun?" He said yea. I hesitated for a moment but said sure.. he asked if I like onions... pickles and sauce to which I agreed. Got my sandwich to go and got back in my truck and started driving opened up my bag and id never seen a sandwich like it...... but HOT damn was it the best freaking chicken sammich I've ever eaten. Never in my life have I tasted chicken so juicy... so smokey... and seasoned so perfectly. This will be a new spot when passing thru....oh yea and they give you free cookies with your order as well... delicious. A disappointed moment of missing out on brisket lead me to one of my new favorite...

We went their first day officially opened. I was fortunate enough that they did a sampling of their meats for me in a box, the chicken was INCREDIBLE- some of the best flavored, and so juicy and tender. The brisket had a great flavor. I’m not a rib or pork person - so I will let someone else review those items. I did witness the size and quality of the baked potato with brisket and it looked delicious! There really isn’t too many places to sit inside. No public bathrooms. And they do have a big fan for those that want to sit outside. Overall, I hope locals and travelers will stop and try them! It’s a great addition to the Mount Enterprise area! The young family that owns it are super sweet and personable. We had a light dinner at my company, so I wanted the to try the chicken and sausage from them, and everyone seemed to love it. It’s a must...
