We had 14 people seated in the back dining room and we were there for 2 and 1/2 hours. Some people ordered appetizers , some didn't. Waited forever for the food. At least an hour and a half. Then when they finally brought out the appetizers, they didn't bring out the salads for the people who did order just meals. Some of the people that got the clams had more clams in their bowl than others and I understand they weigh it by the pound, but a lot of the clam shells were empty and missing the clam itself. The baked potato was old and brown and looked like it was microwaved, like it was the last potato of the day. The mashed potatoes were also brown, like it was an old potato. The pork was fatty and the salad was ho-hum for a nice restaurant like that. Didn't give you enough dressing either for the salad. The dining room was empty when we got there and people came and went and we were still there and didn't get our food. Nobody was in the dining room when we left. They also didn't put out any bread or butter on the table while everybody was waiting for their food. We were there this past Friday and we were there at 6:30 p.m. and left at 9 p.m. Also, it was a hot day and the air conditioning didn't work in there at all, it was very hot in there. We'll...

Just left Cassell's. Ordered an Angry Orchard and, when only bottle brought to the table, asked waitress for a glass. 10 minutes later my husband went up to the bar and got a glass. Ordered 10 wings and sweet potato fries. Food was good, but only got 9 wings. When we pointed out to the waitress and asked for the cost of the wings to be discounted 10%(which would have been almost $1), waitress said she would check. She returned to the table and asked if we wanted the kitchen to cook the other wing for us.....What??!! We were done eating at that time!!! We declined and I said we'd never return there again, even though we live just minutes away. The owner, Barry, was on premises but never bothered to come to the table to "explain", apologize, etc. So, for $1, that place lost 2 potential and potentially regular customers!!! Very poor customer service experience-and will make sure to tell many people of the...

What a wonderful hidden gem!! We had never been here before. But, we read the review "Don't judge a book by its cover" and liked it. So, my husband and I decided to give Casell's a shot and we weren't disappointed! Nick the bartender was friendly and quick to seat us and bring over menus. We ordered the boom boom shrimp to start. OMG!! So freaking good! Crispy light breading fried just right. The boom boom sauce was just spicy enough. We ordered a rum runner and a screwdriver to drink. They were perfect (Great job Nick!). Not too much alcohol or mix. So good we ordered another round. Hubs ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries I ordered the veggie burger with pesto mayo and a side salad. They were delicious!! His fries were so good I stole a few. We both highly recommend Casell's and even though it's over an hour from where we live. We'll definitely be...

I have been here once or twice in the past but recently stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening in early March. We sat at the bar but there were plenty of dining tables. The bartender greeted us immediately and took our drink orders. We ordered calamari as an appetizer (sorry - no pic) and we shared the broiled skrod entree. The food was good. We had green beans and sweet potatoes for sides and I really liked that the fries were thick cut and not greasy. The fish had a little too much bread crumb topping for my taste but was still good. The bartender has been there forever I believe - the maybe 3 times I have been here he has been working. He is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere had a small town feel and is casual and relaxed. Prices are comparable to other similar restaurants. We had a good meal and an enjoyable time.

Super nice polite professional staff very relaxed & quiet super local spot & feel. Food was kinda 80's, just meh. House Potato soup was was good. Special clam chowder for the night was great. Mini crabcakes were ok, small, atop a bed of brown letuce. Christmas Eggnogtini was good. A step back in time which is awesome, although food was nothing special.

A nice, clean, quiet place for our Sunday dinner. Food was good and out quickly. The burger was tasty if not the medium rare ordered. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, especially fries. Bella was an attentive, friendly server, very affable and helpful. Boom Boom Shrimp is a must-have. The Lolli-Hop double IPA from Hershey was very good.
