Burger King — Restaurant in Mount Joy Township

I really like Burger King, and really wish this location was more consistent with the burgers they turn out because some times they're really good, but the other day I was disgusted with the food I was served. I understand working in a fast food store isn't the best gig, but PLEASE try to take a little pride in the food you turn out! Why don't you people care? Do you think it's funny serving horrible food to people? I order a Big Fish (big mistake lol) and I had to stop after the first bite because it was repulsive. Old fish patty, the sauce tasted rancid, soggy pickles, absolutely disgusting. And the bacon whopper I ordered, so sad... perhaps you should allow the customers to hop in the kitchen to make their own food, because I KNOW I could assemble a whopper better. This location has no consistency, because the other month I ordered a couple ChiKings and they were fantastic!! I keep trying to convince my fiance that BK isn't that bad, but this location is even testing my faith in BK. Notice in my picture the Bacon King... look at that assembly! The bacon is laughable! And my big fish... to think some poor fish died to produce this thing... I don't write this review to be rude, I write it because I'm upset, I love BurgerKing, and because I feel like I was being insulted by being served such poorly prepared food. I've work in fast food before, it's easy to get stressed out, it's not a fun job a lot of the time, customers are rude and disrespectful, I get that this is just a job for many. I love yall and will probably be back soon cause them whoppers keep calling my name 😂 hopefully I can write a better...

This si the worse Burger King I've ever been to. Not only are they severely understaffed, the employees who actually are working don't even seem to care about customer service. There's obviously a lack of leadership there, not once dd it seem as if there was a manager present. I went there for breakfast and there was only two people working, which was no surprise and all i needed was a medium coffee which i already paid for. The surly girl working at the counter seemed more interested in taking care of her drive through customer than just pouring my coffee into a cup, which would have taken all but 10 seconds. She proceeded to tell me that she had to take care of the drive through first before she could complete my order. Whether that's true or not, that's not exactly what you should be telling an already irate customer. After a few minutes or so, She told me that she would personally bring my coffee out to me. After 10 minutes i was already done with my meal, I heard conversation and laughing going on at the counter, as i walked up I demanded a refund. The surly cashier then apologized and said that she was waiting for the coffee to finish brewing, which was obviously a lie. I don't think I'll ever be in Elizabethtown again by choice, but If i am I'll never return to this Burger King. I would advise anyone looking for a quick bite to avoid this BK at all cost! All you'll get is sub par food and Lousy service. The employees are just plain lazy, and they should count their blessings that they have their perfect job in this poorly run...

I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. It’s sad how this place has gone down hill. There was maybe like 2 people behind the counter. We waited almost 40 mins for our food and it was not busy. While we were waiting for our food, my husband could see his burger sitting for 20 mins on the shelf and all our food was cold. I ordered chicken fries they were soggy and definitely not cooked. The lady took them and tried to give the same ones back to us. But my husband said he wanted complete fresh ones and the person gave him an attitude. When I went to eat the so called “fresh” chicken fries they looked the same as the first batch and they gave me 8 instead of the 12 we ordered. Wasted $30 worth of food. Not safe to eat.

Meanwhile, as we sit in the booth it smells like bleach and weed. Cleaning buckets are sitting in the middle of the floor as people eat at the booths. I felt like I was going to throw up from the smell. Idk how dirty this place could be when they have 2 people cleaning.

This place doesn’t deserve stars. It needs to be closed because it is filthy. I would go to mount joy Burger...
