Me and the Mrs had some errands to run around the area and set out just before lunch. We typically get started on our day earlier than that but for some reason we were just running a little bit slovenly that day. These things happen and on this particular day, it worked out. We were driving past the House of Tacos and remembered that it was something that we wanted to try so we stopped in not knowing what we were in for. The nice lady at the counter who turned out to be our waitress was very nice although a little soft spoken. You can order to go and not sit down and get a waitress but we decided to stay. This seemed to be a very authentic experience of someone who knew how to make Mexican food and set up a shop for that very purpose and was making a go of it. I love that. My beautiful wife got the Mexican tacos and I got the American tacos because we wanted to see what exactly that meant. We were able to then share our meals with one another to get the same experience. Those two types of tacos are so very different and it reminded me of the fact that I really need to travel more outside of the country. The tacos came with ground beef or pulled pork and so we chose the ground beef and we'll have to come back for the pulled pork tacos because that sounds good too. Looking forward to it.
